Its the last one for my schneider tanker training series. I'll be uploading new videos each week that I finish in the bulk training class over here in Houston, and after my training is over, I'll be uploading new videos about life over the road.
My goal is to give people a little insight about life as a Schneider bulk tanker driver and how life can be over the road as a truck driver.
I have a little experience over the road so I came to Schneider as an experienced driver. Because of that experience, they put me in the experienced driver class, which is about three weeks long.. or 17 days depending on the class and training.
This isn't my first job with Schneider National. I was with them a few years back but left for my son. Came back for this great opportunity and because they are one of the only trucking companies that'll hire someone as an entry level tanker driver with zero to little experience, which I have none of, except dry van experience. That's a big plus for me.
I've always wanted to be a hazmat driver and hoping to be an owner operator in the future & running my own biz. I did my research and from what I've seen, they are the only bulk tanker company that has the training that they're able to offer, and supposedly it's the best around. So when truck driving companies see that you've been trained by Schneider National, it's a big plus.
