Um dos melhores concertos para violoncelos já escritos. Que riqueza timbrística incrível. Às vezes parece que somos transportados a outras dimensões além do espaço-tempo.
This performance doesn't really appeal to me at all. The soloist is sometimes very sloppy and in the last part there is no real chemistry between orchestra and soloist. Different tempi etc..
Schnittke strikes me as a composer who didn't give a sh*t about anything - is this really enjoyable? No, it isn't, and I'm happy to call him out for being a nonsense composer.
