Watching from "Locked Down England" March 2021 and enjoying these amazing drivers so much. Nothing like it here although some of our bus drivers copy these chaps on our normal roads!!! Kind regards to you lovely Americans. Keep sfe and well.
@@yucatansuckaman5726 How kind. Since the American soldiers were so kind to us children in England during WW2, have had a great affection for the Americans. I am now 85 and sadly, have yet to visit your wonderful country. Warm regards. September 2021.
This would be better with a few small changes. 1) maybe not have the pace car on the track for 20 minutes 2) cut the brake lines on all the busses 3) the driver with the fewest collisions in the first heat has the pole position in the second heat. Except they don't get a vehicle. 4) rip off speed and rig each bus to explode if their speed drops below 50mph. 5) no one under 18 allowed in the stadium without a gag.
or 3) guys with paintball guns near the center aiming for the buses avoiding collisions 4) a taser stuck to the throttle leg to be activated if the pedal is not being pressed
I used to work the races as a Paramedic at this track and loved it! I always was so dirty with fumes, dirt, tire and oil grime with very sticky uniforms! Loved it every time! Off and on between 2004-2016!
ahhhhahahahahahaha - I needed this today, thank you all who participated in the race and jamminfun for posting. Oh boy, I am in tears - this is the best thing! Thank YOU!
Looks like a lot of fun. I watched one earlier where it was trucks pulling campers. To all the people bothered by listening to kids cheering, I kinda feel sorry for you.
Feel sorry? If someone says they'd like the show better without the screaming then that's fine. Doesn't automatically mean they're some kind of terrible person that everyone needs to attack, insult, berate, and project their own issues onto.
@@FinalFront Hearing kids enjoy something is 🎶 to my ears. If hearing that bothers you, sounds like you hate kids. So yeah, I feel sorry for you. Kids are the future. Don't get me wrong, having a kid kick the back of my seat on a plane pisses me off just as much as anyone else. Hearing them have a good time at a race like that? Let em scream their heads off for all I care.
I've heard about these races but never seen one untill now. It looks fun. I'd love to try it one day and for who ever recorded this and put this on RU-vid I just want to say thank you and for the adults complaining about the kids screaming just remember when you were a kid. You could always put it on mute.
This has got to be what the rest of the world thinks when they hear 'Merica! F 'em. The rest of the world secretly wants to be us. Don't believe it? When the US hosted the Winter Olympics we were the last nation come out in the march of nations. All of the other countries marched out in orderly rank and file. The American athletes came out as a mob waving, laughing and cheering. After that every Olympics was like that.
i knew demolition races were a thing but i did not for a second think that the school buses in wreckfest were actually based on reality. i'm starting to wonder whether sofa cars are a thing now.
@@jaymoe5.7 They are kids. They are excited. Obviously they are having a blast watching this. Why would you condemn them for that? I think it's great! They probably talked about it for a couple of days afterward.

These races would be more exciting if they ran it like a Bag Derby, where you have a bag over the driver's head and a navigator with him giving him directions.
You guys really going hard on some kids being excited??? I'd much rather hear them screaming at a figure 8 Race than their nose stuck in a computer screen
@Josh Koontz - 100% agree. These kids are having a blast and creating memories. I love bringing my kids to exciting events and hearing them talk about how awesome it was days after the event
Old school busses are cheap. I did this about 3 years ago. Bought the bus drove it home, did it all up then drove it to the raceway. After it was done a junk man gave me a 100 for the bus at the raceway. Only paid 400 for the damn thing.
I said the same thing and are you my Nephew Eric? Recognize my name at all... I have a nephew looks an awful lot like ya.... If it is hey it's your uncle Dutch if ain't I'm embarrassed okay....
@@1RebelDog1 I don't know enough to even answer ya and no I did absolutely no research... Last I heard Eric was working in Canada on gas wells... Ended unemployed then at some auto shop...
@@thekingsilverado9004 sorry dude. I do not remember having an "Uncle Dutch". I haven't been to Canada before but I am close to Canada (Iowa) compared to where I grew up (TN)
More than likely these buses have air brakes and if you cut the line they wont be able to move from park but if the are hydraulic brakes then absolutely yes
Why do I find this exciting? It really is, Kids love it! HULK SMASH took a bad hit! #05 is very well paced, the best driver it appears. I think I would have a Crew for Red flags- to pull off old hanging parts, ETC, but, maybe it is not allowed.
I used to go to the school bus figure 8 races at Riverside Park in Massachusetts. Six Flags bought the park and tore down the track. Now there's no more figure 8 races (or demolition derbies). :(
4:14 is when the pace car finally ducks off if you don't want to hear little kids screaming 69 for 4 minutes.. they probably don't even know what a 69 is.
lol.. AMAZING... AND what would this be.. without the kids... i loved hearing their excitement.. made me even more..and them picking the buses they wanted.. it was so fun watching..
