Having listened to this piece of music for years, I really appreciated his fresh take on it.

This type 0f music is out of fashion, but these guys, particularly Stanley were giants, every time I hear this I can't get over how brilliant they were.

This type genre of music was actually NEVER in fashion. It was a fringe of rock and jazz. What makes it important is the virtuosity and the inventiveness it holds. Fans of this genre may be limited but nothing else really satisfies the neurons like fusion rock does.

We were blasting out the windows with max volume too, back then. Serving the neighbourhood with some real good music. Mahavishnu & Co in our case. Those were the times. 😂

@@JazzRockFusionSynthesizerMusicBut the downside is, that I've got Tinnitus since many years. Cause additionally I'm a drummer, you know. Plus cranking up the Marshalls to 12. No one cared about hearing protection back then. Johnny Mac also got his hearing stroke. I just wonder where the hell he got it from? I'ld guess not from Shakti. 😂

@JazzVisionsMusic Ah, yes, going deaf & ears ringing...already on my way, but I still crank it up. Habit?

@@JazzRockFusionSynthesizerMusicSeriously, don't do that anymore. The consequences aren't funny, I can tell you. Cause hearing aids are really bad. They aren't designed for music, only for speech. And very very expensive.

Charles “Icarus” Johnson. I had never heard of him until a few days ago. Sorta looks like Ted Nugent at first glance.😂
