In one episode of SpongeBob, he briefly lived in the Krusty Krab and when he moved back to his home, he had a drum set that he was playing. In another episode, he, Patrick, Squidward and Plankton were in a rock band that was a front for Plankton stealing the Krabby Patty formula.
Like a criminally tasteless rhythm, Symphony Code offenses are considered especially heinous. In Bikini Bottom, the individuals who investigate these vicious melodies are members of an elite squad known as the Music Police. These are their stories. - Law & Orchestra
For the most part Squidward does play the clarinet badly. But there are some episodes where you actually hear him play well. For example, the episode Hello Bikini Bottom! where SpongeBob and Squidward are scouted by a concert promoter who wants to send them both on the road.
I cannot wait for your reaction to the iCarly episode iHave A Lovesick Teacher. I watched that episode the other day and my first thought was “I’ve got to see this principal’s reaction to this teacher cause it’s wild!” Can’t wait to see it!
Great reaction. Glad you're able to incorporate your musical knowledge into it. I'm surprised this episode wasn't recommended sooner. It's perfect. Squidward does have a custom wooden clarinet that SpongeBob made him, but it's only in one episode. Not sure about the regular one that he plays.
“Squidward is actually an octopus. You can tell because octopus have rounded heads while squids have pointed heads. Also Squidward has two arms and four legs. A total of six limbs which is actually more close to an octopus because they have eight limbs.
There’s actually a reason why Squidward is terrible at clarinet! In the episode Dunces and Dragons, Squidly tried to played it and couldn’t learn to do it and then said if I can’t figure out who to play with this may my own (7 greats) grandson be cursed tenfold which happens to be Squidward!
You know, since you’ve said you were a music teacher before you became a principal. I don’t know your policy with anime, but there’s this anime called Sound! Euphonium about a High School brass band and I always felt like they did a very good job at actually making the band performances sound like actual amateurs making mistakes and why it’d actually sound like. It’d be interesting to hear your perspective on that, if you wanted to react to the series!
@@SchoolPrincipalReacts Hey, that’s pretty awesome! Hope you enjoyed it! Love your content as always and hearing your perspectives on things in this stuff. Both as a principal and of course moments like this rather silly music related SpongeBob episode with your time as a music teacher.
I recently went to a Detroit baseball game and after the game, I saw a person playing drums with a Home Depot bucket with another bucket used for tips.
Back in music class we began with recorders before we advanced to the other wind instruments. I think beginning with a recorder would teach Squidward the basics.
Never seen this one before, enjoyed watching it here and hearing your commentary. That's awesome you used to be a music teacher. I've been obsessed with pianos and piano music for as far back as my memory goes, taught myself how to play and even write my own music. It's a lot of fun. I tried to get my son into playing music, I've offered to buy him any instrument of his choosing several times but he's never taken me up on it and at 15 years old now he's not likely to. He does sometimes like tinkering around here and there on the keyboard though and has picked out a few simple melodies by ear (which is how I started way back when, I just took a much higher interest/fascination with it). That's okay though, he has his own talents and his own interests as well that I like to encourage. Anyway that's enough rambling now LOL. Cheers!
The only instrument I ever really learned to play was the ocarina. I have 7 or so, Different shapes and different octaves. I'm not very musically inclined, and am entirely self taught, so I can only play basic songs. Due to not living alone I haven't played it in years, but I really want to start again if for no other reason than the wonders it did for my lung capacity.
I've been playing clarinet for like 4 years and I've even managed to secure a better tone than Squidward, whose been playing for idk like over 15 years, and I'm still in high school!
@@user-Robin151yeah and I was excited for you to react to this epsiode cuz I know a reaction duo who made it all the way to season 12 and they're about to start reacting to season 12 episode 3 and 4 tomorrow but nobody got to season 13 and seen this cuz this is one of my fav episodes of the season but it's good to see you react to it 😊
7:03 technically, water can be underwater in a sense. Layers of salt can exist and be underwater, lakes rivers etc. Bizarre I know. Fire underwater though. Nickelodeon might have some explaining to do...
Another Spongebob squarepants musical 🎼 themed episode I recommend for you Mr Brandon is "Suctioncup Symphony " its from season 6, you will be laughing at that one. 😅😅
Wow, there was actually a happy ending for Squidward! And him squirting ink out of his nose strongly reminds me of the episode Ink Lemonade which is considered one of the worst and most disgusting episodes in the series...
I'm telling you the later seasons really went down in quality but if you watch some of the older seasons you can find episodes where Squidward isn't half bad like the episode bubble stand if only for a short while
There’s a theory that Squidward is neither a squid nor an octopus but an Atlantean: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5GWa7DWgDxE.htmlsi=azj4eN_BDI2Zbyhy
