This Episode is absolutely the best sponge bob had to offer in his early episodes. If you like it, there's a good reason for that. It had everything: A twist. drama... funny Karma moment when they get scammed after being scammers themselves.

Man... This episode has a special place in my heart after the first time I watched it when I was only 5. (Long story comin' up, so, if you're in the mood...) I was eating breakfast while watching this, and that "Chocolate!" guy had me in stitches, along with some of the other gags. Unfortunately, I was also late for school, so my mom had to hurry me up to get ready. It was at the moment when the "Chocolate!" guy appeared in the scene where Spongebob and Patrick were about to give up. As soon as the guy said "Now that I've got you right where I want you...", my mom somehow got her hands on the TV remote and turned it off. (How evil, I know.) After a brief game of keep-away with my mom and the TV remote I had to head to school and throughout the day, I was wondering in the back of my head what happens next. Like, "did that guy KILL Spongebob and Patrick?!" at one point came to thought which had me worried since this was the newest Spongebob Squarepants episode for me at the time (I mean LOOK at him, did you hear that laugh?! [15:27]). Once I got home and started watching the TV again, I was OVERJOYED to see that episode air again! (AND, I made sure to hide the TV remote.) The moment I was waiting for finally came and once I saw what happened, my 5-year-old self could barely stop laughing... Looks like I worried for nothing! And all's well that ends! Thanks for reacting to this episode, and it's nice to go old-school with ya!

Spongebob has usually had a bit of gross out, but it was tamer and infrequent in the earlier seasons

This is my favorite episode of Spongebob 🤣🤣🤣 so many quotable phrases from this episode. The scenes with the guy going crazy over chocolate and finally catching up to them just to buy their entire chocolate is hilarious.. and the scene with the old ladies made me laugh, especially at the end at the episode when they were all on a double date 😂

Reminds me of The World's Finest Chocolate fundraiser and oh boy do they live up to their name.

Oh yeah, such a Classic Episode. One of my favourites in Season Three. I'm glad that after the last few times where you mostly watched newer episodes, you're now watching the old classic episodes again.

I live in the UK but I visited Florida in February 2003 and while I was there, I saw in a store or two, SpongeBob chocolate bars which each contained almonds! SpongeBob was nowhere to be seen on the wrappers, Squidward was there instead, although the wording still said SpongeBob!

In my opinion, this is the best episode of SpongeBob. I like it even more than Band Geeks. It's just a classic and hilarious from beginning to end. The extremely old lady in a wheelchair is the most unexpected and funniest moment from the show as a whole. I laugh so much no matter how many times I watch Chocolate With Nuts. The writing for seasons 1 through 4 was brilliant. It really proves how creative cartoons can be if they really try. This episode is a masterpiece. This was probably going overboard, but I truly think this episode is that great.
