one of my favorite classical performances of all time, the gentle sorrow, the distant hope, the very souls of the players all manifest so clearly in this sonic day dream. A million times thank you Camille and Beatrice for this treasure youve put into the world.
One should listen to Ständchen when one gets up to start the day introspectively and calmly before diving into the stress infested chores of daily life. This is a beautiful interpretation. Thank you for this post
Namaste! Rob Prince , Well said....Though feel Khatia Buniatishvilli on the piano sounds better, the notes are clearer n absorbed by the mind and heart better....
my vote for the ABSOLUTE MOST BEAUTIFUL PIECE OF MUSIC EVER COMPOSED! and this Definitely does it MORE than credit! wonderfully beautiful. thank you both!
Extremely vibrant sound of the cello, well performèd by Camille, along with her accompaning pianist, makes this composition such a pleasure to watch and listen to.
It's so amazing to see Camille playing her cello with every single bit of passion she has for it. And it seems like the cello is rewarding her and the audience with its music. Franz Schubert would be so proud. :)
Her performance is indescribable feelings , and indescribable beauty, and something indescribable Whenever I listen to this Serenade, I think it's never enough to be regretted that Schubert died at such a young age
This song was heard when I was in my mother,s womb . I heard this song of my beloved mother,s heart beating . My mother was on the beach and I was lightning to the sound of beach,s shore waves and birds chirping in my mother,s womb . In remembrance of late my mother Greeting from Japan .
These 2 charming young ladies are a superb compliment to the world of music! They are in total synchronicity in this lovely selection by Schubert. Their musical parts are in total harmony as well as their spirits. They inspire me to the deepest parts of my soul.
My wife and I love both your and Beatrice's music. Beautiful way to start the day as I look through my photographs I took from the previous day. Thank you for sharing.
Sad music, evocative of the past, of loss and grief, of memory and remembrance, of things we leave behind and others we carry always with us. Good and ill. But also of beauty, solace, and a taste of hope. Wonderfully performed by these two artists. Made my day.
I fell in love with Schubert's music after reading Christopher Hogwood's biography of his life. A totally engrossing book, and a tender treatment of this contemporary of Beethoven. Thank you so very much for this lovely upload!
"Good night, good night, my lovely treasure, Good night, sleep well, my child! May you be guarded by all the angels That are in Heaven! Good night, good night, my dearest treasure, Sleep softly through the night."
Tokyo is getting colder and colder . I can't listen to this incomparable masterpiece without tears . This is a exquisite masterpiece filled with transience and pathos . Her incomparable performance will purify my complexed mind which is tired from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo . From Tokyo of the Land of the Rising Sun Which are you watching this from ? Please practice filial piety . When we would be filial , our parents are gone .
Pure soul, pure emotion, pure passion - absolutely stunning and haunting! I've fallen so deeply in love with this song and THAT interpretation! Thank you so much! And the best thing: no coin is falling to the ground! :)
Schubert's Serenade touches our heartstrings I can't listen to her effulgent performance of this masterpiece without tears and sighs From Tokyo of the Land of the Rising Sun 🇯🇵
