After about 15 years I decided to upgrade my helmet as well. I had a Harley FXRT full face carbon fiber helmet that served me well but wanted a modular. Looked at the Shuberth C5, Shoei Neotech 2 and AGV Sportmodular. Tried all in size Large and purchased the AGV Matt Carbon Fiber and it was the lightest of the three considered. Fit is perfect for me and it's very quiet. Great ventilation as well. I also purchased the AGV ARK (Sena) helmet communicator to link to my phone and R1250RT sound system.

Frank I don't know the AGV helmet, I do love my offload carbon fiber helmets though...nothing beats them for weight. You also have a great bike. I'm struggle with my Sena unit I'm going to call them now. Be safe and thank you for the comment.

Great helmets them Germans make. I own the C3 and it’s very comfortable. Great for people with round heads they said and shoei is great for people with oval heads they said also. Loved your video and looking forward to seeing more content. Ride safe and practice, practice, practice.

This is totally off topic. However, I hope you consider making a review video on the new Polaris Ranger Expedition, covering the specs,, pricing, and whether or not you think it's worth the money. I'd love to hear your opinion on that monster. Especially since you have owned multiple utility side by sides, you (and the Dirt Obsexxion channel) bring a higher level of credibility to the table than most. Just my opinion.

FC I have to say no doubt for me Polaris leads the indurstry with innovation as is not afraid to build very expensive machine. The Expedition is impressive...I'm concerned the engine labors and is undersized the for the weight of the machine. I am interested I'm sure it will be a hit. I will try to do a video in the next several months. Be safe and thank you for the suggestion.

I have a Shoei GT-Air that is my most fitting to my noggin and is very quiet for riding.

Ron the Shoei is a great helmet, it didn't fit my blockhead which was disappointing. Shoei and Schuberth were the only two helmets I looked at. I'd like to buy a Klim adventure helmet...I hate searching for one that fits and Cycle Gear does not stock them in the store. Shoei is a great helmet be safe.

Thanks for the video. What circumference head do you have and which size is the C5?

I can't remember my circumference but the helmet is XXL but I lost weight and had to put the largest cheek pads and pads in the back to keep it sliding down my forehead. i probably would take a XL now. Ride safe I hope this helps.

I know this is an older video but can you tell me if the C5 fits inside a full size tour pack? If so would two of them fit inside?

Boy you should ride to cycle gear and test that. It fits in my Ducati top Paneer that's sized for only one helmet. I believe the Harley King tour pack will hold 2 helmets...I don't think this helmet is larger than other modular helmets but I would test it. cycle gear in our area is always willing to help.

Were you able to get it working with Boom Audio? I am looking at the C5 and seems like they aren't compatible with Boom audio. I was hoping to be able to route audio from the fairing speakers to the headset and still have the handlebar controls. Were you able to get that working? I have a 2020 SGS.

Brian I did not use the helmet speakers that came with the c5. After this video I changed to a Cardo mesh sound system which I move now to two other helmets. Im very happy with the Cardo pack talk. I did not want to purchase the Schubert system that could only be used in this helmet. I hope this helps. Be safe 😊

@@maraudermitchelli It's a HD accessory that allows you to connect non-HD BT comms I guess. Anyway, I did a test with a set of BT earbuds and found that I can output signal to two devices from my android phone, so I think that will allow me to connect the helmet and the boom audio to one phone and still get audio inside the helmet, while still able to use the handlebar controls. Based on the test I'm going to give the helmet a try. Thanks for the review!
