majority is arabophone, and arabophone doesn't necessarily means you're from the middle east of something, Moroccans are mainly arabophones of amazigh origins just like Egyptians are arabophones of egyptian origin and Syrians are arabophones of Assyrian origin and Sudanese are arabs of Nubian origins and so on...so saying Morocco is arab is accurate saying Morocco is arab of arab origins is wrong. culture, music, cuisine, wardrobe, dance, folklore, architecture and so much more is also mainly amazigh with foreign influence and contribution throughout the years.
@@abysswalker9677 not during Moorish rule bro, Mauritania fell already and rashidin caliphate made it to the very north of modern morocco but never the rest of it, when the Ummayads took over they didn't last too long because the very north of Modern morocco started to learn arabic and figured out that the Ummayads were actually enforcing laws on the new amazigh muslim tribes from that region that were not in Islam but were related to treating the people of that region and others with not enough respect, so you're correct about kicking the ummayads out but it was after the fall of Mauritania and numidia. also, the islamic conquest didn't reach a huge part of north africa, it only took over old roman empire territories and that was the coastal territory in the Mediterranean but they never went south or reach the atlantic and everyone who is speaking arabic or arabic and tamazight today are amazigh descendants, also the sub saharan africa and many regions in africa and outside of africa adopted arabic because of islam not conquest and islam took more time after the ummayads were kicked out to spread in the whole region and depended mostly on knowledgeable individuals who wanted to spread islam and wanted nothing like resources and such like the ummayads and others did.
