Listening to it first thing in the morning and I am set for the day, it brought me such internal peace, this is the kind of beauty we all should love and appreciate. Rostropovich was amazing, great cellist, conductor and human being.
Hi Mucsi, I think I would agree with you if this had been the first recording that I had heard! :) I have the one with Rostropovich and Bernstein in my ears, it became a reference to me, I can't find this version as good... In particular I prefer Rostropovich in that later version because he avoids what appears to me to be too lyric rubatos (e.g. 3:10, 18:38, 22:21) and he is more energetic and vibrant -- at the expense of being perhaps less intimate. The lyricism he uses here seems to me a bit like the one which would fit better Dvorak's concerto... It is certainly very beautiful version as well, but not the Schumann concerto in the spirit I have registered in my mind :) Cheers!
You all probably dont care but does someone know a method to log back into an instagram account? I somehow forgot the login password. I would love any tips you can offer me.
@Enrique Ruben thanks for your reply. I got to the site on google and I'm in the hacking process now. Takes quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
