Thanks everyone for watching Episode 1: Earth Station! Fun fact, when we filmed Orbital Redux live for Legendary Digital, at the beginning and end of every episode the online audience was presented with choice points where they got to affect the story in different ways. Actors and writers would then adapt the episodes according to audience direction!

In itself a good pilot episode. However, these forced relationship problems are extremely annoying in the long run, as every series of this kind brings this up. Seen a thousand times, and 999 times it was boring and unnecessary. I think the series would live quite well without this "must", since the rest of the plot overplays this well anyway. Plus point, though, for being a gay relationship on par with male/female relationships. Still doesn't make it that much more exciting though, unfortunately. It still gets a big LIKE from me anyway.

@@soerengerlach4932 We love the theater too! 😄 But, what's extra exciting about this series is not only were the actors performing everything in one take, but we had 10 cameras, live sound effects, narrative choice points for the audience to become part fo the story, and of course a director cutting the show live as it was broadcast out to the world!

I don't actually think there's much benefit to the introductory "flash forward". Other than that, I think it was really good. All the characters feel real and relatable, even though the world is different from the one we live in. I'd like to see more.

I think I found out about this web series 2 years after its release from Yuri. I postponed it due to laziness of watching it via hdmi through TV with a laptop, but finally starting now since it's on RU-vid. The production quality is impressive, and the performance from Yuri is incredible, as well as the rest of the cast for the most part. Great dynamic variety of character from staying in one set with a few interactions. Very impressive and intriguing. From what I understand, I think Mark's eggs for a child failed... that's what I understood. The rest made sense. Cool to see Yuri in live action as an original fan from Prince of Persia, Sasuke, etc. and Spider-Man.

it's come to my attention that youtube don't recommend videos from dust to me. for this reason i have not visited the channel in over a year. binged quite a few videos yesterday, no matter how many times i reload not a single dust video hit my front page. there may be a inside reason for this after dust team have definitely raged on my comments before, though i have never heard of a yt creator able to hinder videos being recommended to a specific user.

@@HuplesCat In story telling there are 3 basics. Beginning, middle, and end. Again, when you give away the conclusion of a story line and expect readers or viewers to watch or read the story from a beginning, you have to ask yourself why? Yes, the author may be a great writer and is experienced. The whole point in story telling is this; introduce a character and scenario. Create a time line for the character(s), introduce faults, problems, hurtles, and difficulties. Let the character(s) find a solution. And finally have a resolve(good or bad). Example: If I read a story or know the main character in a movie or video who dies at the end but is shown to do so at the beginning, why bother?

Do you never read fiction because it is all made up? Do you no watch or read history because everyone in it is dead? sometimes, first episodes are a mish mash and all over the place, as characters are introduced, more to give you really just a 'name'. The character will develop itself in the next few episodes, with potentially an episode or three all about each single character to really fill you in on their background. If you knew everything off the bat, then why watch the next ep?? go with it, follow the cliffhanger..
