You raise an excellent point. Hollywood (and its non-American counterparts) is always going to want "draw names". They've ruined a lot of good stories like that. This project needs THOSE GUYS that were in the concept short. In a film set in THAT COUNTRY. With their ACCENTS AND CULTURE INTACT. These are not things Hollywood is competent to deliver.

@@spacegirl2510 We can't explain them. Honestly it is impossible to explain "Now Now". It's kinda like "Later, but Now." The problem is that the meaning is compltely context related. Example: The movie will start now now. I will send that email now now. Your pizza will come now now.

This is one of the finest short films on Dust. The actors 3 are perfect in the rolls. The Dr is one of his best rolls par none. I have rewatched this clip hundreds of times as I discover something new and brilliant about this short Film

I came here because of a movie titled "Love and Monsters" , I love that movie and seriously loved the acting , effects , director , cast , score , the connection to both of these is the director Micheal Matthews directed the movie titled "Love and Monsters" and when it ended , I wanted more of his work , so I googled Micheal Matthews and saw that he only has a few movies under his belt , and one of them was obviously "Apocalypse Now Now" , so I went to youtube and saw this masterpiece Micheal Matthews has amazing potential , also , check out "Love and Monsters" , the trailer isn't as good as the film so don't be thrown off by it , I recommend that you give it a watch

I love Dust... I watch short films from dust all the time since I don't like sitting still to watch a full movie... Unless it's really good... And as a South African I love seeing things like this... This video made me look up and read the book, then read it again, read the second one and gift them both to half a dozen people. I hope this will inspire others to pick up the book. One part of me yearns for a full feature Film or series, but part of me wants it to stay as this wonderful proof of concept that lures people into the wonderfully fucked up world of the books.
