@@feliciascott83 Ive made significant improvement. I can walk run and workout again and am back to working and training. Although I still have pain from time to time the difference is night and day. Thank you for your comment it’s very endearing and I appreciate it. Im going to see if I can get a complete reversal of my condition. I opted out of surgery and decided to rehabilitate myself through training and workouts and that helped me.

I think I have sciatica, I feel a super sharp pain in my left glute/hip area and a slightly annoying sensation down the the back of my knee. It hurts to sleep and is the most sensitive/tender in the small of my back when I lay down. My hips crack a lot, almost as much as someone would crack their finger knuckles. I wonder if this frequent cracking contributed to this pain? Although the pain is only present on the left side. Anyone else experiencing the same thing?

I didn’t even exercised that vigorously, just 30min treadmill, weights and sit-ups, though I think it could be cus I did a new exercise, it was the cross crunches😖 I’m so scared, I’m gonna have to tell my mom today. :( Edit: I told my mom that I have back pains and that if I should go to the clinic or no. She told me it’s probably just cus i exercised ( I told her the new exercises I did) and that I should take it slow and she will give me a pill to relieve my back (cus she sometimes has back pain). Hopefully the pill and just walking will make it go away. Inshallah🙏🏻

Long story short, had herniated disc ten years, got rid of it by traction, crutches to get around, hit again five years later neglected stretching, , took much longer, almost normal, stay stretched!

19 and got really bad sciatica to the point i can't move , caused by a herniated disc and a narrow spinal canal(spinal stenosis), roughly 10 mm instead of the normal 17 it gets to the point i can't move and my back seases up, have been prescribed no pain killers either as non work only one i can think of is morphine lol

Can you get this if you never had any back problems? My back is probably the strongest part of my body and never been injured or really had any pain there but I get pain down the back of my leg. Unless I have spinal damage and can't even feel it. My back feels completely strong and healthy though.

35 here and just started experiencing sciatica for the first time a week or so ago, which was about a month after some sort of back injury. It sucks especially in the mornings after getting out of bed and seems to get less severe as the day goes on and I move around
So this what's going underneath my body. Gosh I really feel I could cut off my left leg, as the pain spreads from my lower back to my left ankle. Lumbar spondylosis and L4-S1 disc bulge here!

I found a small car inner tube, slightly inflated, tied to both ends of bed posts, then tied in middle, stick feet in sideways, straighten feet, this is comfortable, and flexing feet against resistance, helps to heal. This will take time, first time two months, almost constant, crutches to get around. Since I neglected preventive traction, came back, five years later, took longer this time, probably never be complete heal this time, ninety percent better! Don’t give up, improvement comes slowly, then suddenly you feel normal! J. H
I think I'm suffering with this right now I can barely walk. It hurts to stand up sharp shooting pains in both legs when I try to walk I have dealt with many things before but nothing like this. pleurisy did not hurt this bad when the infection went from a lungs and spread in between my rib cage and joints that hurt but not like this
Can you get this by doing heavy squatting and deadlifts with too much weight??? I think it's what happened to me :( Now I have back pain radiating to the back side of my legs all the way to me knee. Sometimes can't even sleep.... Stretches do tend to help and I guess I won't do those squats or deadlifts again...

..... There are mainly two causes of sciatica which are disc herniation and piriformis syndrome. If the inner material leaks out and disc touches nerve roots, It can create pain on low back, hips and legs. And even if you don't have disc problem, If you feel pain on a leg, It should be piriformis syndrome which piriformis muscle presses scatic nerve. You can release pain by stretching piriformis muscle. If you squat with butt wink, you will have pain on your low back sooner or later. So, doing mobility work to squat deep should be beneficial for workout and life. Because, people sit a lot.

My doctor said I have this without any tests etc tingle in my leg and left lower back is like a stitch or something really uncomfortable but haven’t had any scans etc as worry it could be something else I have arthritis in my top spine and neck and only 28 year old it’s mad
Anytime I do gardening and engage in pulling/twisting etc, I end up with a pain that prevents me from standing up straight. I end up walking with my butt sticking out and a pain going down my left leg. It usually goes away in 4 days. Is this sciatica, neurogenic claudication or something else?
