Thanks for the gifts. When I was teaching kids camps such as edible art, candy chemistry, and others involving food or science, we put marshmallow Peeps in the microwave to see what happened. I already knew but the kids didn't. We also put a single M&M in a small curved plate & added water and watched the colors run. We did lots of experiments, as kids camps were 1 wk long, 4 hours a day, and the kids ranged between 6-10 years old.

These are amazing experiments for kids. When I worked at a camp, I did stained glass rainbow designs, but using coffee filters, water, and food coloring. The kids had so much fun. We also finger-knitted, which is truly a lost art form.

Hey, any idea what to make when finger knitting? I used to make scarves because you could layer it all down and just join them. But I thought considering your comment I may as well ask :-D Nice to meet a fellow finger-knitter 🎉

@@tanyaloeskow4351 Hey fellow finger-knitter! I've made knitted animals, scarves, and puppets. I bought a few books from Amazon when I switched to working with kids full-time and we had a finger-knitting club.

⚠️PLEASE DO #1 OUTSIDE, ITS VERY MESSY⚠️ 1st experiment- Drop 1 Mentos Candy into a bottle of soda pop & you will have an immediate volcano. 2nd experiment- Line up Skittles candies, making a large circle on a plate, then pour water onto center of plate until it touches all candies. Then after a few minutes, you will have a round rainbow on the plate.(M&Ms or other colored candies can be used in place of Skittles) Have Fun! 😁

If you put water in a glass then shake pepper into the water (enough to cover the top of water) then drop 1 drop of dish washing liquid in the water, the pepper will immediately scatter away from center of cup to the edges. Have fun experimenting! Thanks for the gifts & the fun, BB & Michelle 😁
