We need more people like you who can explain the ancient Hindu practice with scientific analysis. The old stereotype way was relevant when the large amount of population was not educated.
Not too sure it was not about being not educated. That’s a strong statement. It was more that people believed in the ancient heritage and were willing to practice without necessarily asking for the knowledge behind it. As they practiced they discovered the benefits and also realized its value. I am not saying that seeking knowledge is bad, but it is not necessary that we place such a condition for accepting the Vedic practices. Today we are unfortunately insisting on this in every aspect of ancient practices and then only accepting it.
When TESLA talks of perceiving the world in ENERGY, FREQUENCY & VIBRATION to understand the universe in its correlation to mantras the mantra is the FREQUENCY which represents a certain ENERGY say Saraswati Mantra, Guru Mantra or any mantra while when you chant or hear the mantra one is VIBRATING at that state and attracting the very positive effect of that energy. Namaskaram, Sir you said your story comes from Treta yug. This story is told also of Krishna speaking to Narada Muni, and again of Jnana Yogi and Shiva. I’ve come to know of this story in these three different occasions, but it is the same story where a devotee is told to repeat the mantra Om Nama Shiva/Om Namo Narayanaya/Om Shambho Nama. Why does the same story appear for three different occasions?
