My review of this game-changing long casting line for swinging streamers of casting them in lakes. I've cast the whole fly line with this line paired with a fast action 10ft Sage lake fishing rod. It is a great floating line that casts like a shooting head. Highly recommended.

Will this work for small streams/rivers or is the head to long?

I think it is overkill for small streams and rivers. It is a power casting line and doesn’t have the finesse to land flies delicately. A great line for swinging streamers in a big tail water or for lakes but not for smaller streams IMO. Check out my video on the Airflo SuperDri Elite - that’s a great line for nymph/dry fly fishing on streams

What's the memory like? I'm finding it very difficult to get a floating line these days, that lays straight on the water.

Hey ... I have fished with it for a few seasons and haven't had any issues with memory. Lines always benefit from a bit of a stretch pre trip if you haven't used them for a while.
