That uniform style is a correct, alternate, uniform for some details. It is based off a military style duty uniform. Details where they might get the uniform messed up (ie: dirty/torn/damaged). It is also machine washable. He also identified himself with the LAPD. The City of LA and the LAPD have been very friendly with the Scientology Org.

@@sarahwales6276 Not really. I recall an event in Hollywood where an "entertainer" hired off-duty cops for his security detail and it was discovered the "principal" (entertainer) was a felon in Calif. The off duty cops got in some very hot water with their employers. It is a conflict of interest.

It looks like the Scientologists got a filming permit. I work with the film industry in my city and that "church" would have to pay for these permits and, obviously, are abusing what they are really for. But they can get away with that stuff on technicalities.
I have never known or understood anything about this "religion". The only reason i am interested now is Leah Remin's recent show and it literally makes me sick with the fair game shit! The way I see it is if the religion were worth a damn they wouldn't expend so much time, money and energy trying to discredit every single person who speaks out against them. it doesn't make sense to me. Almost every word from her mouth is a put down, and not just when speaking to scientologists. Someone who keeps putting people down is fast disliked, and those who persist in the company of such a person will soon find their lives going wrong. The whole subject of PTS/SP (potential trouble source/suppressive person) is all about such people. A person becomes PTS when they are connected to an SP, in other words if you see someone who has enormous capabilities getting nowhere in life, or someone who is always ill, you will find a suppressive person in their lives. An SP is not defined as someone who doesn't like scientology, an SP doesn't like anyone who does better in life than him/herself, and will always put them down to stop them growing. That is why a a scientologist will disconnect from someone who tries to stop them being a scientologist. In more recent posts, Leah seems calmer than before, I bet she is now regretting having left the church, but her earlier self was so negative, even against non scientologists. Anyone who gets a thrill out of listening to such suppresion, is actually low tone themselves, being 'lifted' to the level of 1.1, covert hostility. Nothing to be proud of.

Thank You Tori. My Dad and Stepmother moved from Ft. Worth Tx to LA to be at the hub of Scientology. They lived on Russell Ave right below the steps of Apple School. This was in 1973 or 74. I came for the summer. They made Me take a 3 week course. I pretended to read the book. I was 12 Yrs old and I knew right away it was Horseshit. My Dad was a high level OT. I went every Summer after that. I told them I was not going to the blue building again. My Dad and Stepmother blew in 1988. I saw them on Geraldo Rivera in in 1990. They were harassed to no end. The Cult tried suing them. I'm glad There are People such as You speaking out about this Evil Cult .

I've NEVER in my life heard that you can't be on a sidewalk!!! It's a public domain and no one has the right to tell anyone that they can not stand on the sidewalk, and I don't give 2 craps what the hell they say....I pay my taxes, and I'll walk, stand, skip, run, spit, piss (not really...unless there's no one around and it's dark thennnn maybe), take video/photos or even poop (I think that I'll leave that for the dogs to do). These people LIE all the time, so how does anyone know what they were saying was actual fact? They didn't show any type of paperwork or permit.

There are only two legal reasons for sidewalks along a street to possibly be closed; momentarily a part of a Presidential motorcade route, and some kind of natural disaster, or a fire, No private organization can initiate such a momentary closure.

The music they use for events sounds like music they played on workplace training videos back in the 80's. And Miscavige isn't even an engaging speaker. I don't get how people are so taken in. I would have to say from videos of Hubbard that he had a kind of a presence that was interesting. But Miscavige is not a skilled orator. At all.

I always enjoy your videos! I applaud the way you confront the Scios. Unlike MANY other protestors you are always friendly and respectful. I believe this is the correct approach. I especially liked this particular video because you mentioned the Alterations to the Tech to the gentleman who moved you across the street. I believe that this is one of the best ways to get someone who is “in” to start thinking. I am NO fan of Hubbard Tech but one has to know the belief structure in order to have meaningful discourse and meaningful discourse is the only way to get people thinking. THANK YOU TORY!

Did they have the authority to shut down a side walk? As far as I know sidewalks are public property anyone can use. You should have told them to call the police and have them remove you. You can't take their bull shit so easily.
