Ferments in skincare has been a game changer for me, I will NEVER not have at least one product in my routine. I especially love a great first essence 😊 great review!
Sarah, you are killing me here! I have added that to my list! I do really like essences and especially the Korean ones! I have bottles of essence that I just MUST get used up before adding more to my counter. My counter is much bigger than the counter in the bathroom that you film in and my counter has even less room than you have! UGH! My husband says, "well darling, if you would just use up some of your products and then start watching the tube again". UH, NO- I said I will not do that, I need to start a list, so when I run low, I know what to buy to try next. Keep up the good work Sarah!
😂😂😀😊 You made my laugh, although I must admit, it's nice to know someone has a fuller countertop than I do! hehe! The worst (and even almost dangerous) is my bathroom cabinet. It's almost a geometric equation to figure out how to fit all my dropper bottles and jars in there. Sometimes if I push one in a little too much it will all shift and something could fall. Thank goodness we don't get earthquakes where I live, it would be deadly!
Does the box come sealed? This is probably a strange question, but I’m paranoid when it comes to products since I watched the news and heard that a woman’s hair fell off after purchasing a shampoo at Walmart because someone put Nair in the shampoo, and I want to purchase this product, but I know it comes from Korea and that’s far away from US… I’m paranoid when products don’t have safety seals 😆😅🤷♀️
i hate to say it but i love any fermented essence. it just feels so soothing and light and hydrating. whether there is proof of efficacy or not, i just enjoy using them.
I can't believe I lived over 30 years on this earth without using them. I think my skin could have been so much happier along the way with a few small changes. I'm begging to go crazy with essences. I layer everything else, might as well start layering essences, too!
10/10, sounds fabulous! My current galactomyces ferment essence in my rotation is the Benton Fermentation Essence. I’m happy with it and the $ is good. When I’m finished with it I may give this one a try. My PC Omega + Complex Serum is just about used up and I was wondering is there are any others (Omega fatty acids) that you would recommend. I really do love the one from PC. Hope you’re staying warm🔥. You look fabulous:) Thanks, chickadee🍃🌸
My Benton Fermentation Essence just came about a week ago, I'm excited to try it out. I love Benton products! I've got a few omega rich products that I love. The new Milk Makeup Vegan Milk Moisturizer is great for very dry skin. I'm using it up so much faster than I thought I would. I don't think my husband has mailed your goodies so I can add a jar of it. That one has lots of the omegas because of all the nut and vegetable oils. I also like the Biossance Omega Repair Cream, although it is pretty pricey, a little of that goes a long way. The other one is (shockingly) the GlamGlow MoistureTrip Omega Rich Moisturizer. I think this is the first time I've ever been able to confidently recommend a GlamGlow product. Sephora had a few sets with a full size of it for less than it cost alone. Probably my favorite Glamglow product yet. I think right now those are my favorite omega products. Have you had a chance to try any of those before? So cold out here, makes it so hard to stay motivated because sometimes it's just so much better to stay inside than go out and freeze. The doggies are getting cabin fever. Someday when I'm rich I'll build them an indoor pool. They would LOVE that so much! I hope you are hanging in there- sending you hugs from Minnesota! 😘😘
have you tried or do you do you know the . between this one and SCINIC - Single Origin First Treatment Essence? its a bit more money but not that much more. xoxo
Ooh it looks like that is a newer product from Scinic! Now I might have to try it 😁 it looks like the Single Origin is their version of a Mugwort essence. The species of Mugwort for this one is called sea wormwood. It fascinates me that all these brands use different Mugwort varieties. Have you tried any of the Mugwort products yet?
@@NOBSBeauty i'll be waiting to see if you review it. Of course there is no flipping rush because you have soooooo many to do, but i'll be watching. In the meantime i have ordered the one you did the video on hee hee
I did really like this one then I tried sk11 for 7 months straight idk what it is about it but it was like magic water now I see the hype but looking for others with the same results before I go and buy again belei e I almost bought it again 3 times . I am know using iope bio condition essence I really like that too alot but a different way then sk 11 and I am waiting for the Scinic Prestige FTE to get here the ingredients list looks amazing and I have high hopes , idk if u have tried the prestige version yet I'll let u know if it really good. I'm obsessed with essence and toners ..lol 😂 I can't get enough.
I have only tried the Fresh black tea kombucha essence. I really liked it but it’s too expensive. I’m thinking of purchasing the Cosrx galactomyces essence, because it’s available at Ulta online and I can get free shipping lol.
No BS Beauty I’m glad to hear you like it! My skin is very dry. I also thought about the Missha Time Revolution essence. Which one of those two do you like best, Cosrx or Missha?
Why have I Never heard of this 🤷♀️ I literally just added it to my yesstyle cart lol Thanks for another fabulous review. How's the counter top coming along, did you start yet?
Hi Sarah, I have never tried that product. I do like the packaging. I am a sucker for packaging. Korea is making some great products. I need lots of collagen. Maybe I should try the Scinic line. Looks like it has lots of great products.
Scinic has some great products, the other kbeauty brands I'm loving are Purito, Isntree, and Klairs. They all seem to be doing a nice job creating selections for sensitive skin. Compared to a lot of other kbeauty Essences the Scinic is one of my favorites, probably in my top three favorites. And it's rather affordable so it's well worth checking it out.
"..and not so much ice cream"...😂😂😂 I'm with you on that!!! I'm currently using COSRX Galactomyces 95 Tone Balancing Essence--two layers of it in my routine sandwich. 😊 Of course my face really loves the SKII, figures!💸💸💸
This is one of the K Beauty products I’ve not heard of or tried. How would you compare this to May Coop Raw Sauce or Time Revolution? I use a Japanese fermented skin conditioner and love it.
Very good question! I would say that this compares very closely with the Missha essence. Actually, some times when I'm doing my routine if I use the Scinic I can't tell the difference between that and Missha. There are such similar formulas that my skin doesn't seem to notice the difference. It's a bit lighter than the may co-op r also seems to be more Hydrating than the MC. I prefer the Missha and Scinic to the Raw Sauce. Between the Missha and Scinic, I think next time I'll just pick up whichever one is more affordable.
I think an essence does more than just help with skin brightness. It helps with Hydration, but also helps other products absorb better as well. Vitamin c is a great antioxidant and helps fight off free radicals, sun damage, fine lines, and can even help prevent breakouts. You definitely don't have to use them but your skin will benefit if you do.
I love essence’s and I literally can’t go a day w/o using one but idk which ferment I use. I use the Primera miracle seed essence right now and I didn’t realize the difference. 💜💜
The Primera is next on my list to try out. I've heard good things! There are so many different kinds of ferments, it really is overwhelming to try and memorize them all. Some people prefer one kind over the other, but I cannot tell the difference, and neither does my skin.
Looks like one to buy I'm still getting threw my I'm from rice toner but the new one from neogen ferment that I got threw real fast .thanks for your review ♥️♥️👍
Oh woman, why are you doing this to me 😉 I’m currently working my way through Missha Artemisia Treatment Essence, May Coop raw sauce and the cosrx Galactomyces. This has been saved in my items for a while now and now it looks like this will be my next essence, when I have worked my way through one of these bottles first. This one does sounds pretty darn good to add to my routine. I have placed 3 different orders in a week, so I think I might have to keep away from the site for a while 😳but it is so hard, especially since browsing YesStyle is my guilty pleasure’ Great review as always ❤️😘
😂😂😂 You had me laughing so hard!! Yesstyle always gets me to cave in and buy things, especially when they have that stupid timer going on some of the deals, gets me all stressed out!!! The Cosrx Galacomyces is another favorite of mine. I'm going to have to do a versus of all of them. So many are so similar it can be difficult to pick just one essence- 😁😁
emma /a I love it... I find it quite soothing on the skin, especially since I use it after using a chemical exfoliator. My skin seems to love even if I haven’t exfoliated. If my skin feels a little sensitive or dry and tight, I use it as a mask by soaking a layer of my cotton pads ( I use cotton pads that you can seperate into thin layers) and applying them on to my skin for 5-10 minutes.
emma /a I bought mine on stylekorean when they had a special on it for half price. It is slightly more expensive compared to other Korean toners, but I do think it is worth it. I would buy it again but more likely from YesStyle as they are normally is slightly cheaper, it's where I buy pretty much all of my Korean skincare. 😃
emma /a I’ve just opened one, asi really like swanicoco skincare. Only used it once and erm, wasn’t overly impressed 🤭 I’m going to try layering it and see how it turns out. My fave FTE are Iope, Hera, Pure Heals, the pure Heals is the most moisturising, which my dry skin prefers. Oh and Hanyul Artemesia essence, 3 years fermented. Eunnie raves about the secret key, and a 10/10 from Sarah means I’ll try it lol
@@gingerbadjie9670 thanks for sharing!! I commented above about my experiences with FTE. I went through 5 bottles of Secret Key. I didn't like the CosRx. I loved the Neogen but a little expensive for me. I have From Nature AGE Treatment Essence being delivered tomorrow, I've heard great things so I am excited!! Where do you get the Pure Heals? I've stayed away from the Iope because I think it contains alcohol, but Kelly Driscoll recommends it. ☺️
You can use it morning and night, and I would recommend using it right after you're done cleansing but before you use any moistuizer or Serums. I like using it on a cotton pad and just smoothing it over your skin, then don't rinse and go straight to your other products.
Hadn’t heard of this one. Might have to give it a try. I’ve used the CosRX Galaxctomyces. It definitely didn’t bother my skin, but I can’t decide if I noticed a lot of results from it beyond what any old hydrating toner does. I tried one of the Missha galactomyces essences, but for whatever reason the review I had seen specifically mentioned the rose version. That irritated my skin like crazy, which I wouldn’t have necessarily expected from just rosewater, but it does have grapefruit seed extract, so I’m guessing that was the culprit.
Missha has so many products, and so many essences, it;s almost overwhelming. I'm going to have to check out how many variations they have. Grapefruit seed extract would be my bet, too. The Cosrx Galactomyces was one of the first essences I tried after using the SK-II. The SK-II never seemed to impress me. It didn't bother me, but it didn't get me excited about the results. I like the Scinic much more.
