Dude, there´s this mate of mine whose father was in the colonial wars but never talks about it , he brought some pics though and as kids my mate once managed to find the pics his father brought from the war : as a teen those pics, it´s like they have been stamped inside my head - dude was a paratrooper ,merciless c**** parading before a stock of sawn off heads impaled on stakes ( we think our troops aren´t doing these things ? I used to before I saw those ) . And the smiles on everybody´s face like that was some major reward or when some team wins the worldcup or something ... oh sorry, regarding the snake , so I´d already heard of people sitting in tree trunks in the dense jungle and then realizing the trunk was a f****** Boa snake or whatever those hugeass snakes are called . And yes, there was this succession of pictures I´ll never forget : 1st - what seemed like a dead snake (B/&W/pic , the others were colour); 2º some dude with a knife gutting this HUGE creature cause it was obvious it was digesting something by its abnormal thickness, I swear size must have been some 4 to 5 feet ... so yeah ...3rd : you look at a black and white pic of a gutted snake´s interior and you see a strange shape , everything ressembling a coccoon ... then your attention shifts to another shape in the fetal position , and yeah, disbelief dissipates and you actually realize that it´s a human who the snake had eaten ( child from what his dad told him later ,child had disappeared and in Africa they seemingly are pretty suspicious of crocs, but yeah, that is what that 3rd pic depicted , wtf! You imagine getting squeezed by an animal like that and then probably swollen while still alive - I´m pretty positive that pic scarred me , lol, serious ... I begun shitting myself everytime I saw some snake after that ) ... also - hahahah @ teh dude who told me about having sat himself on top of one Boa assuming it was a tree trunk, was in a sauna and he was telling me to press this and that part of his body where he had holes, you get shot , the hole in the bone apparentely remains by what I examined, so yeah, he tells me he and his platoon are going some place and the heat and humidity kills you down there in Africa so he sees this cool looking trunk and decides to rest on it , hahaha, allegedly he tells me he started having the impression something was smoothly wiggling ,wasn´t sure whether it was himself or the tree or just going crazy , too much greenery, you name it , everything besides his colleagues telling him to get up and firing close to him which made him realize what was happening , allegedly took the other guys a good hour or two to calm him down , hahahah, and that was a commando. Shit is hard to believe , mistaking a Boa for a trunk in the middle of a jungle? Dunno if he was showing off to a kiddo at the sauna we used to do some Full Contact in back in the day, he was truthful about being a commando and having got shot though as I learned later on . Oh well, that is the snakes I like anyways, as long as they do not slowly coil the f*** up around me and crush my ass for breaskfast it´s all good ... Hhaha, sorry about the novel , wtf!
