When I was invited to teach also in this edition, I was sure I would find myself living the typical atmophere that I breath every time this event, but this year, as never before, it was definitely the most magical of all the Other editions: everything worked perfectly, the students were fantastic and their dedication, curiosity and passion allowed us Masters to express us better than we usually are able to doing.
Budospring is a unique international event and the 2017 edition was probably the most beautiful and engaging I've ever had.
Budospring is not, like most multidisciplinary events, a simple showcase of different Martial Arts where the various teachers just try to convince the participants that what they propose is better than others do.
Budospring is a place where all the present Masters have one purpose: to raise the students of others in their own Arts, giving them ideas, letting them seeing similar concepts in contexts very different from the one they are accustomed to. In this way they are able to grow, to make connections, to broaden their martial horizons and their own knowledge.
I had always talked to my students of the tremendous growth potential that allows participation in an event like this and this year with great satisfaction I managed to go to Verona accompanied by several of them.
This year the choice of disciplines was very extensive (more than 20) and one could train each day for more than 8 hours a day.
Seeing my students try to practice Arts completely different from what they are usually used to, observing how they coped them and receiving from many of the Masters that followed them the compliments for their dedition and hability to adapt to contexts very different by their usual, it was a great satisfaction for me.
Congratulations guys!
Continue on this road with passion and curiosity: the only limitations you have are those you impose yourself!
As far as I'm concerned with many of the present Masters, I have a close relationship of friendship, respect and exchange, and every time I come back to Budospring is like coming home.
I would like to thank all the participants who have come to practice my lessons, often returning to follow more than one: it was a pleasure to teach you, I hope to give you some inspiration and help you progress on your path.
I would like to thank all the Masters (among others, Igor Novelli, Paolo Carpene, Michele Dal Bo, Gaetano Moronese, etc ...) who came to my lessons or with whom I attended their lessons or I had private exchanges.
It is always a real honor to share ideas and experiences with you: every time I come back to Rome being a better practitioner, teacher, and man.
I would like to thank all the staff of Taki No Kan for having so masterfully organized the whole event: this year it all turned and ran to wonder!
You have been really great!
Finally, I would like to thank three people who I really appreciate: Roberto Granati, Andrea Lupo Sinclair, Mauro Toso.
Guys is an infinite pleasure to be able to spend time, to share experience with you and I am very lucky and honored that you give me your my friendship.
Thank you
Sifu Pietro N. Roselli Lorenzini
