How long should we do the wedging for especially in sitting? I tried it out at a restaurant while my back was getting a bit tired, I just used a scarf. Thanks for another great video, very much appreciated! Would you consider doing videos on working out the multifidus muscles and general posture alignment/isometric exercises to do while standing?
+soymilkgal HI, Soymilkgal. As far as length of time is concerned, do what feels best. If the wedging it begins to feel uncomfortable change your position, change or stop using the wedding. And thank you for your kind words about the video. :-) As far as another video: General posture in standing in terms of alignment and working/activating the intricate muscles of the spine, yes we can do a video like that. :-) In the meantime, have you seen our standing video? It's kind of dark because we did it in the forest, but it is standing alignment info for you. :-) Here's the link: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-31b2iI8tj24.html. As always, check with a doctor to make sure you are healthy enough to exercise.
Hii karena, I have a quistion about wedging. My lowest curve is in my midback. My hips are totally straight. So does the wedge go under my midback or does it go under my lowback/hips?
Hello, Arlette, We can't offer specific advice without seeing someone in person, or via zoom. The very general rule is that the wedges go under the convexities/sand dunes when someone is lying on their back. I strongly encourage you to get one-on-one help/advice to make your scoliosis exercise practice the best it can be.
Hello, Steven, I am really sorry that I am just seeing your comment. Yes, sometimes we do see correction. However. it is never our goal. Our goal is pain reduction and a return to really living... with scoliosis. I hope this helps.
