The REAL reason he regrets it is because he thought that he could bully Taylor into silence and make her his bitch, but as soon as Taylor announced she would be re-recording her albums and everybody was on board with supporting it, he realized that his plan failed. So he sold the master’s to another company quickly to limit his embarrassment. Now NOBODY is gonna benefit from it because the original Fearless and Red have dropped off the charts, only selling minimal compared to the new versions. Now 1989 Taylor’s Version is gonna stomp the original beneath it’s feet. Scooter won the battle but Taylor won the war.

Taylor spoke MULTIPLE TIMES in conversations that she didn't want Scooter anywhere near her masters, yet those conversations were swept under the rug. It was clear the men in the situation minimized anything Taylor had to say in the same of "business" - yeah nothing got lost in translation, y'all didn't want to hear it and did things out of ego and greed and were mad when Taylor spoke out and swifties followed. We are HER fans, we don't appreciate anyone making us feel like a number and then trying to profit off of our favorite artist.
I’m sorry, but it’s probably almost certain that Taylor manipulated the narrative to garner public support and hurt scooter’s reputation.. everyone involved has come out against the narrative she painted and mentioned several times that she had the opportunity to purchase her masters but declined.. heck her own father owned apart of the company and got $15mil from the sale.. @@VivianValeriena well she has to put up SOME collateral🤷♂️.. it’s doubtful that she could afford to buy them with cash, so some form of exchange has to take place to recoup the value of her masters.. it’s reasonable to me… NDA are 100% commonplace when dealing with transactions of that size. Now I heard somewhere that it said “she could never say anything bad about Scooter” and I agree that that is weird 🥴.. but from what I gather, everyone involved gave a different narrative then the one she presented. Her own father’s involvement on the board makes me incredibly suspicious that she was unaware. Plus the way she overstated her relationship with Scooter Braun and casted him as a villain while not really having much of any relationship with him outside of a playful tweet with Justin Bieber struck me as a way for her to sensationalize the story and extract public sympathy.. We will never know what really happen but the testimony of parties involved, her father’s involvement + her embellished narrative all strike me as suspicious..

What everyone needs to know and understand about this whole situation is that Scooter told Taylor that he would not consider negotiating with her regarding buying back her albums unless she signed a strict nda saying that she could never say anything bad about him ever again. Not only did her legal team advise against signing it, but they said that this type of nda is not normal and that ndas like that are usually used in cases where someone is paying off a victim of assault in order to silence them.
