I have just got mine and the smoked visor IS LEGAL. It has ALL the same markings as the clear visor - E11 stamp and "if tinted for daytime use only" on it, which indicates that it is legal.

Just bought one and the PINLOCK 70 supplied in the box doesn’t fit or is listed anywhere to buy as a replacement. The PINLOCK 120 which is listed doesn’t fit either. Even the guys at your Bristol shop couldn’t get either of them to fit even making small cuts to try and allow a better fit wouldn’t give a proper seal fit . Hats off to them for trying to fit it. But as they said. They’ve never had any visor so difficult or impossible to get the Pinlock to fit and seal . This was after emailing customer services who all they did was send a link video of how to fit pinlock not impressed with customer service online but really felt the Bristol shop guys tried there best with something that wasn’t there fault. The fail is PINLOCK VERY BAD SPEC

Sorry you've had a bad experience with this. It's been a while since I fitted the Pinlock now, but I don't recall it being a particular problem on the lid I wore. If you still don't have a resolution, I would contact customer support again and explain the situation so that hopefully you'll get the support you're looking for this time. I'm happy to take a look at the helmet myself if that is possible. Cheers, Tony

Mine came with a 120 and was easy to fit. You know you can rotate the pins with a screwdriver right?

Wish they hadn't made the adx-2 unwearably heavy 😫 but guess i'll have to go non modular, so my injured neck can handle it 🙈 this seems like a winner. I absolutely love my adx-1, but sadly cant be bought new anymore 😅 and it's getting old

There are two jackets shown. The light grey one that gets most screen time is a Rukka Explore-R (review: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XeRJk_TeBBA.html) and the darker grey jacket is an Oxford Stormland (review: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-76smSsvzAV0.html). How would this compare to the Nexx X.Wed3? Looking to get myself a new lid and not sure what I want. Having always had flip front lids, the LS2 Advant X is one I'm looking at, but I am drawn to the more "adventure-y" kind as well.

I wonder how the fit is on these? I'm 61cm but I'd prefer the smaller shell size of the size L if I could?

I recently just bought one. Fortunately for you. I have exactly the same measurement. You wouldnt want a smaller helmet. It would be to tight on the cheeks. Amazing helmet. One of the most comfortable helmets I have bought. Also becuase of the air pump system you can make fit a little more snug. Hope I helped.

You're asking a UK shop. In the US it's called the XT9000, but it's the same helmet, it's even 22.06 certified.

What head shape is it designed for. I have a long oval head, and find finding helmets to fit can be tricky, so an indication of head shape that it suits would be really helpful, to know whether this would be worth considering or an absolute no no.

I've looked very hard for a reliable way of finding out which head shape helmets suit, but it's defeated me so far. Unless a manufacturer describes the shape then I have no way of knowing. Scorpion Europe don't list a head shape for this helmet, and the United States equivalent (XT9000) is missing from their list that describes which lids suit specific head shapes. I have one I've been testing for a while and I find it rounder than something like the Shoei Hornet, or new Tour X5. Its a lovely lid and feels premium, but it doesn't work for my intermediate heading to long oval head shape. Going up a size made it far too loose. Hope that helps

That's strange because I have an int oval shape and it fits me. Just shows fit is very individual.

How much does it weigh in size M?

@@newgetway That's interesting. I just took four more size mediums from our warehouse and the two newer ones among those weigh more than the one we reviewed. They are 1726 and 1730 grams. Scorpion has updated the weight sticker too (now 1650g, was 1600g), which suggests it's been revised since the first production run. Cheers, Tony

i would like to know what the Db rating is for this helmet against the shuberth c5 and HJC rapha 91

Firstly, there's no such thing as a "Db rating" for helmets because it will vary massively depending on who is wearing it and the circumstances (speed, wind speed, direction etc). Where are you getting 91 rating from? There's no official Db rating for either of those because, as I say, that's not possible since sound isolation is not a standardised test. Champion Helmets recorded the HJC Rapha as letting in 95Db. They got 98Db for the ADF 9000. But their tests are massively flawed and completely unscientific since they make no effort to control or account for environmental conditions.

Ok so maybe not "Ratings" but records show for example that the C5 is one of the quietist lids out and that the Rapha91 is slightly better.i have seen many side by side sounds tests. By the way who are "they" re your 98Db record for the ADF 9000? cheeers@@flippy66
