The sun visor pice isn't actually for blocking light, it serves the same purpose as the visor on dirt bike helmets. When you are following someone on a trail if you tilt your head down the visor will block small rocks from hitting your goggles. 😁
I also find this helmet tight in the jaw. I compressed the foam by opening the helmet and squeezing each cheek with my hands. Not enough to flatten the foam. Just compress it a little. Made quite a difference. I only use the peak visor if I expect rain. I like it overall. Seems well built like every other Scorpion Ive had. Heavy and loud like every other modular. Looks like the helmet from Halo, that's what sold me 🤣
Your ride alone told me this wasn't the right helmet for you. Your body angle and head position is all wrong for a peaked helmet.. This helmet is for sport adventure touring not a cruiser.
