The Scorpion Serket Taper and Why I chose this awesome slip on exhaust!
The way I look at it there are three main contenders when choosing a slip on exhaust for your Street Triple 675 or 765. You have the OG optional extra - Arrow, the SC Project Conic and the Scorpion Serket Taper, that I think matches the aesthetics of the Street Triple R and at the same time sounds awesome! The Scorpion just ticked all the boxes for me.
In this video I provide a static and fly by sound test and discuss the Scorpion vs the Arrow and SC Project, plus analysis of why I chose this AWESOME slip on exhaust for my 2016 Street Triple R.

Another fabulous vid. Does it come with a baffle/Db killer and were you filming with it in or out? A comparison would make a good short 😀

I'm concerned with volume levels. Is the Serket much louder than the OEM exhaust? I was going to get the Competition Werks but heard that it's too loud based on other people's experiences. Same thing with SC Project exhausts - too loud.

The Serket is noticeably louder than the stock exhaust, but I wouldn’t say it is too loud. The SC is apparently much louder than the Serket. I’m not too sure about Competition Werks but I’ve heard they are loud! The only time it’s been a bit droney is on very long rides that I do about once a year when I go on the annual tour but I wear ear plugs anyway and would recommend anyone riding a motorbike do the same (Auritech are my favourite and cheapish). General riding it just improves the exhaust note and turned it up a few notches in volume. Haven’t tried it with the baffle out yet mind.
