Scorpions -- Crossfire 

Why is this masterpiece so underrated? It has so powerfull lyrics and Klaus Meine's voice of angel sounds perfectly here. Drums are AMAZING and the main riff is the reason why this song is my favourite on entire world. I still remember first listening to "Love At First Sting" when I heard it and immidietly understood, that it's the best song ever made. Huh... Reminds me those days, when I was in middle school and playing computer games for hours, with "Love At First Sting" playing loud in the bacground. I miss those days

This is the album that got me into the Scorpions. My favorite band of all time. 34yrs ago.

There were a lot of metal and hard rock songs during the 80's that reflected the impending fear and threat of nuclear war. China White is another one from Scorpions as well as those such as Two Minutes To Midnight by Iron Maiden, Bloodstone by Judas Priest, Distant Early Warning and The Manhattan Project by Rush, Thank God For The Bomb and Killer of Giants by Ozzy Osbourne, Fight Fire With Fire and Disposable Heroes by Metallica, Gods of War by Def Leppard, Powersurge by Overkill...the list goes on. Thrash Metal bands made entire albums of them. Not saying that any of those songs have lost any of their relevance but it must have been a very frightening time for world leaders and subsequently us back then.

What a monster of an album "Love at first sting" is! This gem of a song isn't even known mainstream, and yet, for me at least, it is arguably a better rocker than "Rock you like a hurricane".

well, rthats a good song, really. But, we have to understand, that the life and the world is that we have to fight to stay alive, so we have to be ready. Time goes by, but nothing really changes. The stronger you are, the better is the world around. As an example, you can see that all that words that are in any kind of agreements about peace between other countries are just a words and can gone to bullshit any time. Way too many samples are going on and were going a history behind.
