Such an amazing vlog & the place in Peterhead I deliver to every Wednesday morning with pallet boxes of labels for there fish products , not been for two weeks as I am off I’ll but I am back on Sunday now transport manager has got over his mood lol stay safe out there and keep the vlogs coming xxxxx
I was born and brought up on the south side of Glasgow, although I now live about forty miles south, in Ayrshire. My parents were both from Edinburgh so we would constantly pass Livingstone on our way to visit our grandparents. My brother now lives in Aberdeen and they definitely had the worst of the weather from the recent storms, although it doesn't look too bad when you were there. You are right there are some lovely views in both the north of England and the north of Scotland, pity about the weather, sometimes.😂😂 Once again thanks for a really enjoyable post, that turn out of the factory was a nightmare.😱😱 Safe journey.
i have picked up many times from peterhead and taken fish products to monaco plus i mainly do bonded goods from many places in scotland to europe but now all i do is take frozen foods to ICELAND shops in spain as i live there now only do part time driving now at 73 in my own rig-- plus i made a lot of friends in scotland as i was in the RAF near to elgin not allowed to say the base offical secrets act with being ex forces as i was up there from 72 to 86 and still keep in toch with them all
Hi Lady great video as usual my late father used to deliver to Crosse& Blackwell it was ok he got tipped by forklift but his nxt pick up was all handball that was in Arbroath no wonder he was a fit wee man,regards and stay safe Lady 🍍🚛🚛🦞
I grew up 6 miles inland from Peterhead in a village called Longside. My first job out of school was at Connors seafood Boddam now Thistle seafood. I worked there until I passed my driving test. Then my Dad got me a job at Sandy Bruce Trucking driving 7.5t. I never passed my heavy goods but my Dad was a hgv driver for about 40 years UK and continent. Thx for the upload.

Very interesting - we hired a car at the airport to get us to Pitlochry for a family wedding and those signs and speed cameras played tricks on my mind. I knew they related to trucks and on some stretches appeared to be a voluntary trial, but then again I am never sure when those variable speed limit cameras on the UK motorway gantries are active. Been driving for 43 years so probably need a copy of the current Highway Code for Christmas 😂 Anyway I really enjoy your filming and voiceovers 👏

0.02... I always grabbed an empty pallet and split a full one in half. It takes ten minutes to do and gives you 2 days peace of mind whilst driving home. Obviously if you've got the floor space to to do it. I remember other drivers saying they had one go over halfway through France etc. Work smarter not harder. :)

I had a quick question for you: I’m a fellow HGV driver - I do a mix of work on agency including fridges, but I don’t yet do tramping. Once I am able I plan to do some European work to get a taste of it, but I always worry the fridge would keep me awake. Is that an issue for you and do you have any tips? I heard putting it on continuous is apparently better than stop start. Safe travels and best wishes 🚛 James
Sleeping with a running fridge has never bothered me. You know what it is so you switch off to it, like living next to a road. Just turn over and go back to sleep 😁

A while? It’s only been 2 weeks since the last video 🤷🏼♀️. The fish went to a regional distribution centre, which is why I didn’t record it because there was nothing to see.
i did manchester to livingston hostpital one sunday night in a sprinter van as a favour then i fueled up at BP and yes i put petrol in it and realised when it was full , bSo then i cut the jet wash brush pipe off the machine and siphoned as much as i could out onto trhe grass then i refilled with diesel it would only do 42mph all the way home then at preston it went normal and picked up so i refuelled with diesel and finished my shift and went home .never heard again .
Love your Vlogs Sherralin. Was wondering if you or any of you subscribers now of any decent reputable haulage transport companies that do exclusively euro trunking work out of the UK. I'm looking to get back into class one working after finishing another project outside of transport. Might be boring to some but I like as I have done in the past to straightforward trunking distance work. Don't know how many companies England do that to Europe? :-) Ideally based in SW England but happy to travel further afield.
Well I’m on duty 3weeks but that’s not always in Europe, sometimes I get home in these weeks too. I’m lucky to be flexible so I can fit in with whatever the works doing.
