Happy to see that your trip to Portugal occurred without problems. You are right, Portuguese people usually learn English and they keep it in memory, not like French people 😅 and the movies on tv are not translated, so you listen original version and you read at the same in Portuguese, it helps to learn ! Hi Sherralin. Just watching you driving into Durham. Was there on a day trip last year. Me and step-daughters always take a bus trip to different places, and Durham was one we went to. Knew all about where you had to go as if heading into the car park. As you come out of the low "bridge", and drive past the river, there's a footbridge. That is where our bus dropped us off. A bit of a chill as it was April. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the video

Hi Sherrallin, always watch your travels. Ex. UK, done the Roskoff and Caen crossings from Bristol. Also sailed many of the Brittany harbours from Salcombe. rented Gites in SW France If more Americans saw your videos they would see familiar roadways, and signage as familiar. I must admit in the 40 years I’ve been doing it, apart from from the didgy tacho & GPS (not to be relied on, I still carry maps) things are much the same. 😁😁 Enjoy your retirement 😁

A good one again Sherralin. That road by the river in Durham where you went in has been known to be flooded. You do see life, and never seem to get rattled. It can be a stressful job when you haven't been to places before and arrive to find them tight.

Very wise words on the break planning - no matter where I’m going, I like to have that breathing space as guaranteed you arrive at a place and can’t find parking! I used to run close to my 4.5 hours, but experience taught me it’s a terrible idea 😂🫣

Thank you. No you don’t change the clock in the tacho when you cross borders. Your tacho says the same as your country of origin. I was just pointing out that Portugal is the same time as UK/IRL but Spain is an hour ahead.
Hi sherralin ,first class as usual. Your respect for other road users and people is second to none 👏you have the patience of a saint .do you get much time of when home? .I used to do european work but a few days of in the middle of in the week when home was it, straight back out again 😊
