Yeah it’s a handy size and surprisingly has a ton of space. I have their backpack, electrical bag and toiletry bag and all of them are grey quality and strangely unbelievably spacious

I holidayed in Arran a lot with my wife and kids. There can be a north / south divide with the weather with it being dry in Whiting Bay, while rainy north of Brodick. You should stop off in Whiting Bay which has a lovely long sandy beach, fantastic Glenashdale Falls walk, golf club in the hills, etc.

Former resident here wondering why I left. I lived near Glen Rosa and Blackwaterfoot. Great to see bakery still going. You have made a great video, great camera presence and fun to watch. .I Ioved revisiting albeit on video. I am in West Cork now. I miss the quietness of Arran. I love places where the sky is alway in conversation with landscape. I don't like touristy.❤❤. Thank you for making me smiling and rekindling memories.

Happy memories of walkng up Goat Fell some 20+ years ago. Stayed up at Lochranza which we really enjoyed. I think a lot of folk bypass some really stunning parts of Scotland in the rush to get to the NC500...their loss🤷

The bakery will blow your mind haha. Its beautiful. Goatfell is the best peak ive been on including all the ones we done in Norway just purely because of the 360 panoramic view that is absolutely incredible. You feel like your on top of the world.

Having taken a touring caravan to Scotland, stopping over at Culzean caravan site after travelling from England. The Isle of Arran, is Scotland in miniature. It is a great place to retreat to. Plus as you have discovered it can be persisting it down in England and it is cracking the flags in Scotland, yes 70 degrees F on a March Easter and the Sound of Jura was like a millpond. I was wishing that my Scottish father was still alive to experience it! The U.K. has over 900 islands, very few have been visited. With empty Carribean type beaches ⛱ and get the weather right the U.K. is like another country! Island life is totally different and can be really chilled.

Gives a shout if you run out of water near Lochranza in the future. You can fill up at our place. Is the Loch you went to the one that is along the river that passes the lochranza distillery?

Thanks mate thats appreciated. I believe you can get to it that way but we went from the West Coast and up that way. But we did bump into a couple of people who were walking up there and had came from a different route to get there.

I think a lot of people visit the island actually. I even came across some Americans and Germans when climbing Goatfell in September. Probably one of the more popular Scottish islands to be honest. Anyway, great video! I like your style (different style from my Arran videos, I had no transport except for the bus)! This is the first video of yours I have come across.

Great Video Chris (and Danni). Great video with a perfect mix of content. It's 5 years since we went to Scotland and I have been 5 months without a van. As soon as my van is finished I hope that to be my first big trip. You got me spitting out my coffee with the thumbnail pisstake....but you are 100%....so many RU-vid channels go down the clickbait route or showing a bit of cleavage or bum cheek....I have been trying to edit out the arse crack shots in my videos....perhaps I should leave it in🤣🤣🤣🤣. Anyway....keep up the good work, and I have just bought your Scottish bundle...see if it helps us on our trip 😊. Now better get back to the workshop to finish that van instead of watching you guys in the office 😉.

Well what I can say about this A funny, informative and honest RU-vid Video with ( in my opinion ) great little pokes at todays kind of RU-vid Videos. The Thumbnail ideas had us in stitches Loved the raw look of the video and the way it came across. This is one place that’s definitely going to be added to my list of adventures In the mean time, it’s Scotland for me in two weeks Great video guys look forward to the next one

Thanks mate appreciate it. It’s the Osprey Stratos II in 36 litre. It’s a great bag. I’ve got 3 of them all different sizes. Absolutely love it and had them all for around 4 year and never had an issue with a single one of them.
