I drink the 2019 Bingdao Lao Zhai cake and tell the story of Lucy's coral snake battle (and aftermath). Lucy gets cheeky with some memes! Product available here: yunnansourcing.com/collection...
I'm really loving your videos lately. It might surprise you that other people wanna listen to you talk to yourself for 30 minutes but, well, here we are. Keep em coming!
Thanks for another great session, Scott. Want to try this cake a lot. Lucy the trouble maker. The illustrations of Lucy's thoughts is just hilarious :D Really hope she will make it.
hahaha aw she is adorable, im glad she's ok! my family dog when me and my bro were kids was a doberman, her name was Lady. they are auch beautiful nice dogs, so sweet
Jeeez man... That's super scary that happened with Lucy! And here I am, worried if the family's dog has eaten mushrooms (or anything else) that may or may not be poisonous. I think I'd get grey hair way too early if we had anything more serious than the common European adder here. Luckily our dog is such a scaredy-cat, he won't even go near an area where he has found a snake recently.
So thankful Lucy is okay!! I was praying for her the day you posted about the coral snake. I remember my family dog Hank getting bit by a rattle snake and that was super scary, but a coral snake would be way more scary obviously considering it's the most poisonous snake in North America. So I feel for you and Lucy. incidents like that are very scary to go through with our furry best friends. Thanks for sharing amazing teas and always good to see Lucy join you! 😊❤🍵
I was glad to hear that Lucy was alright in the end. 7 years ago I lost my horse to an eastern brown snake bite, for me and my wife our cats, dogs and horses are like children not just pets, so I can fully comprehend how you must have felt.
Considering this incident it's probably a good thing that Lucy doesn't chew her food!! I ordered some more teas from YS and decided to expand my horizons. In addition to a raw puerh (my fave), I ordered jiaogulan, jujube, and buckwheat roasted teas. I double-checked my order and, nope, coral snake venom tea isn't among them.
How scary! Where we live we have copperheads and timber rattlesnakes. I killed a copperhead a few years ago. Luckily my little dogs didn't get near it.
Scary for you and Lucy. There are snake aversion training programs that can help Lucy learn to avoid touching snakes. Venom must be injected and poisons are swallowed. Thankfully coral snakes are rear fixed fanged which makes it more difficult for them to deliver an dose of venom through a bite opposed to rattlers and other pit vipers which are front floating fang so it is much easier for them to inject venom with a quick tag. Sending calming vibes and prayers for Lucy. Chances are she is going to be just fine.
