I swear if you strike then england will never forgive the cowardice, we see wales as a strong rugby nation and a fantastic neighbor, don’t disappoint us now
Little did we know a third golden age in Welsh rugby was about to begin. 2005-2021. Unfortunately however, another baron spell looks to be on the horizon like the 80s and 90s.
It would be nice to think this would happen on Saturday, but that's very unlikely. If we are going to lose, let's go down showing some positive attacking intent.
I'm afraid Gatland's success, when we faced better opponents, was to nullify space and clean, fast ball for opposing backs used to supporting, dummy running and general ball skills more often. Greater game development, stricter refereeing and many other factors make this a harder and harder ploy to solely depend on. But I agree - let's go after them, now they've lost Mr Jones!
I trekked up to Wembley for this game and paid £30 for a ticket. Our coach was stuck in the car park for 3 hours after the game going nowhere but nobody cared. We were all delirious. Memories of joy to treasure.
Tim Rodber and Chris Wyatt had outstanding games that day. Jonny Wilkinson kicked 6 from 7. Clearly, he never forgave himself the relatively easy conversion he missed in the 1st-half. Credit to him - however painful that may be to say!
Bill McLaren said "Well, Scotland get the put-in this time" at 2:58. Scotland wasn't even playing! Bill was getting on in years, at that point. Love him forever.
Them were the days where Wales six nations highlight was beating England sadly this will the same for next few years, if we wasn’t playing England next Saturday the pubs would be empty
