Chemist here, when Scott says at 0:54 that you can go up but not back down when anodizing, that’s because the process uses electricity to build an oxide layer on the titanium. The thicknesses of this layer varies with voltage. And, layers of different thicknesses will bend light differently. This results in different colors.

I wish I would have found your channel before I got my daith pierced about 10 days ago. I was so surprised how fast you did Miranda’s because mine took like 15-20 seconds to push the needle through and it was pretty intense… had me a little concerned but seems to be healing nicely so far and it’s definitely my favorite piercing out of the ones I have. The jewelry you showed is beautiful do you sell any online? I’ll definitely stop in your shop next time I’m out in Vegas I want my rook done in my other ear next!

I'm glad that these videos of you doing piercings exist, it's reassuring in a way to see that the way you do your piercings is almost the same as my experience at the place I go to, of course not that I don't have faith in my piercer as every piercing I've got has been just fine but it's always good to know i'm getting the same procedure as from someone that's been professionally piercing for close to 3 decades

I have the same anodizer. I buy my titanium jewelry blank, and anodize it myself. It's fun!!! I have the same voltage chart with the colors also. I do other people's jewelry too for a small fee. (Jan Griffiths).
Ugh I WISH we had studios like yours here in Australia. There's next to no oversight of competency and training over here, so tattoos and piercings are kind of fair game. So cool. Hello from Scotland! I've had 11 new ear piercings since June, until now (Dec). Two Conches, Two Flats, seconds reopened and my fourth on my left and fifth on both ears. All helped perfectly, thank goodness but I have the bug! I'd love either two more Flats, OR a Daith. 😊

I had my daith pierced after watching a bunch of your videos. I love it! It's only been a month, though, so it's still sore and doing its thing. The ring came out of the needle as she was pulling it through so that wasn't a fun experience and I'd honestly never do it again on the other side.

I got my septum done and it was pierced way too low! I have such trust issues when it comes to piercers, but I don’t want to take it out and have it redone because of my first experience. If I was ever going out to Vegas, I think I’d take it out in advance to heal and let you do it. Great piercings ❤️
Thoughts I randomly have while watching; a compilation: Can you anodize half and half of a piece of jewelry? Yoo his right leg calf tatt is SICK Do you carry real gems like opal and diamonds etc? That front side of the store IS GORGEOUS If the needle gets stuck in the cartilage, do you slightly panic? I wonder what the craziest piercing request Scott's ever gotten? Hell yeah, that's a dope piercing.
Yep, a piece of jewelry can be anodized in 2 (or more) colors. I have an anodizer myself, and color my own. It all depends how long the probe is left on the piece. (Jan Griffiths).

Had my daith done a month ago and although it hurt, jewellery insertion is the killer. Once it was in placed and I was cleaned up though I loved it and I’m so happy now. I had no idea that you could changed the colours like this though that was quite fascinating to watch.
I only have a nose ring but I’d like to get more piercings. They say I’m to old but I don’t feel like piercings have an age. You make it seem so effortless and I like the way you explain everything. I just got a get in the chair a yhat was it.
