I give a tour of the updated dirty side of my collection. Main Channel: @ScottTheWoz Twitter: / scottthewoz Facebook: / scottthewoz Instagram: / scottthewoz
A brand new Scott The Woz episode AND a brand new Scott’s Stash video on the same day?! Thank you for blessing us with this amazing content, Scott. Glad to have you back!!
@@diamond-sk2ll I guess this is what the ASMR crowd get from those videos, this is my shit right here, chills me the f out listening to people talking about this stuff, organisation and all that.
No way! This is too good to be true! Scott's cluster of consoles is my FAVORITE Scott's Stash video! And a new Scott The Woz episode the same day? This is awesome! I still want a closet like Scott's.
Hey, your house...do it how you want but as someone who has had his hot water heater leak 4 times in the first 3 years I've had my house, you cannot account for bad pipes. Here's hoping you avoid my fate. Edit: The room looks great otherwise!

Hey Scott, This is going to seem really weird, but that chair that you have in the closet is the exact same type of chair that my parents had at their dining room table for my entire childhood. It was originally a hand-me-down from my grandmother who passed a few years ago, and will likely be handed down to me at some point. I know it's a pretty trivial thing, but seeing that was a funny little coincidence that made my day, and I really appreciated it. Great video!
The fact scott just says "thank you for letting me have a roof over my head " just makes you know how sincere he is. Like you often hear other content creators complain all the time that "they dont make enough" and " its hard work you viewers don't understand i deserve more money" . meanwhile scotts over here saying " thank you for watching that i can have a place any place to live at that means the world"
Ah man, seeing the Smash & Splatoon Wii U still in the box made me really happy. That's the one my mum got my siblings and I years ago and I could never quite remember what the box looked like, it bugged me so much.
I feel like you should make a full setup tour I bet a lot of people including me would like that as like a Scott the woz episodes or even something like that here
Love how when Scott talks about wanting a fight stick he says he wanted it "not only just to have a fight stick, but y'know just to use for other things" but never mentions wanting it to play games lmfao
Hey Scott, you might want to look into using anything other than plastic tubs for your game stuff. Plastic fumes do not play nice with each other and will break down other plastics. This is especially prevalent in older games like game boy games and it is very much worth looking out for.
Is there a plastic tub equivalent that prevents that problem and also protects against leaks and water damage? Cuz that would be prime for game storing
@@jesushuerta4379 sadly, I have no recommendation. I typically keep everything in their original cases and have controllers and miscellaneous cables in either shelves or door hanging shoe racks.
This can be true, but I've only ever seen it happen when the totes were kept in very hot areas. Such as direct sunlight, or in an attic. I've personally kept my collection in totes, similar to the ones that Scott has for about thirty years now and I haven't noticed any discoloration. They were always kept in climate controlled areas though. I will say that I did have a problem with the totes which don't have much room on the lids. They can have sharp plastic edges which click into place with the tote to keep the lid in place. These can dig into cardboard game boxes and put deep creases into then. I had this happen with some old Atari 2600 boxes, which was unfortunate.
this is making me imagine someone breaking into scott's house and stealing exactly one wii u pro controller box (not the controller) and an animal crossing amiibo
Just a piece of advice! As someone who has had a basement flood, keep things you care about on the higher shelves. Don't put anything you'd hate to lose below the shelves on the floor! edit: after watching all the way through Scott has definitely been doing that! But for everyone else watching, its still solid advice!
2:18 May I suggest to keep the bottom shelf empty? That way you have some wiggle room to reduce the damages substantially, whenever a leak occurs. Since that piece of furniture is almost empty, you should be able to void the bottom shelf with no hassle at all.
5 years later of the Nintendo Switch Presentation 2017 I watched it, and after that I watched a lot of reactions, but also I watched the review by Scott, that was the second episode of the series, and after that I started to watch every episode of Scott the Woz. I am currently at Season 3 (or the 2019 videos) and I recently watched The Game Room and Scott did it, he said in the video that he wanted a game room in the basement, and two years later he got robbed and repossesed his things in this new house, so congratulations to Scott because he got The Game Room.
1 recommendation. Don't put stuff directly on the floor if your hot water heater doesn't have a drain near it. If it busts it'll flood and that would suck hard.
Thank you Scott for bringing back the memory of watching G4's coverage of E3 and seeing a bunch of Ubisoft game devs play a round of laser tag in the audience. They were simpler times.
When you first made a video at the new house, I thought back to that old game room video from a few years back about your dream gaming room, it’s finally coming to fruition
This collection makes me so happy. I'm trying to start my own collection of ds/3ds games since the eshop is closing. I got my first job and I feel so happy now that I am able to afford all these ds/3ds games I've always wanted as a kid.
I would have loved if the 3D tv caught on for split screen games. My dad and I used to always play star wars battlefront and other games and I was awful and constantly screen peaked
You’re welcome, thank you for the hour upon hours of entertainment. I’ve watched so many of the videos multiple times and i always find jokes that I’ve missed the first go around.
I'd love to sit and just talk about various "dumb" ideas for gaming storage, especially for people with smaller collections. What I've taken to doing is placing an older console that I have sitting around and placing it at the start of that particular consoles collection as a sort of bookend. Only problem is, finding a bookshelf with enough room while still having a back to it.
This is really good. That must help a lot that you can get something quickly when you want something. Also seeing your Wii U's reminds me I would really like a Wii U
Sorry for the late reply, this is cool to see that your stash of games and consoles are in a bigger space! I do have a suggestion for the figurines/amiibos: Have a mini light over them (that way you can see them.)
It's cool to see you get a bigger place and in return be able to organise everything in a more productive manner bins or no bins! I'd say maybe think of buying fun stickers from artists to put on the bins to add some more colors without covering what's inside too much
@@ArshadZahid_nohandleideas I’m actually not sure. He just mentioned that he is colorblind as an answer to a question in a interview. That is all we know.
A tip for storing/displaying game consoles, while keeping them protected from light bumps, and scuffing from nearby boxes... Buy a roll of thick polypropylene clear plastic wrap from Amazon, or some other place. This is normally used for wrapping flower bouquets, making gift baskets, and other hobbies. It's pretty cheap, pretty thick, very clear, and offers protection, while leaving your boxes highly displayable. Now just wrap the boxes like your wrapping XMAS gifts. Have fun! 😁
Nice place! I'm wary of putting your stuff near a water source because I've heard horror stories of people's games getting ruined forever due to a burst. You do you though!
Yep coming here after your newest Woz video really made it clear how much bigger your collection became. By this point is there a console you DONT own yet?
