The Traditional coupled with the new. The Darvel Dam is one of those trad tunes that is renamed depending on where you live. In the Irvine Valley in Ayrshire it's known as either the Darvel Dam ot the Darvel Toll and has the chorus beginnning 'Whar are ye gaun, gimmie yer haun, come tell tae me yer name.....'
The second tune was composed in October 2012 for the birthday of Annie Smith from Whiteness in Shetland and international leader of the WAGs (Wee Annie's Gang) who aim to annoy Scottish Music programme presenters on the internet! She's almost done more for Scottish music than Jimmy Shand!!!
