In this video I will be reviewing the Scott's Turf Builder Green Max Fertilizer. My lawn has been completely neglected for the last 15 years and has been nothing but a mess of weeds and dirt. This year, I decided to learn about lawn care so I can turn my lawn into something I'm proud of. I am still new to lawn care and I have learned everything I know so far from a RU-vidr named Ryan Knorr.
I purchased a bag of this fertilizer in hopes of improving my back yard without having to reseed and start over in the fall.
My lawn is your typical cool season lawn with a mix of Kentucky Blue Grass, Perennial Rye Grass, and Fescue.
I applied this product dead in the middle of summer when most lawns are going dormant due to lack of rain and water restrictions here on the west coast.
After 3 days, I wasn't seeing the results I was expecting but to be fair, you should be using this product when the grass is actively growing. I was starting to right this product off.
Then after a few weeks, I was blown away by the explosive growth that my grass was going through. 20 days in and my lawn has NEVER looked this good. Watch the video and see the results for your self.
