When my old friend Scott Paynter mentioned he wanted to sing from the jazz standards book, I jumped at the chance. We did 5 songs together this evening, but it was Donny Hathaway's version of A Song For You that touched me the most. Scotty P's voice has been heard all over the world as the lead singer of the group Jah Works. Here's a softer side.
For my Nordicles: I'm playing the house Nord Piano 4. The piano and the vocal mic were mixed by the talent buyer at the venue and I added some nat sound from my DJI Osmo Pocket 3 camera.
