Remember Arthur Smith might had to run it alittle bit more in Atlanta more than he wanted to because of the poor QB he had so if he can get better play with either Wilson or Fields it's possible he can have the same success that he had in Tennessee as their OC.

Payton didnt get off the couch to coach Wilson. He knew coming in that Nix was his guy. Thats why he couldn't risk having a successful offense with Wilson. And you all but confirmed this with these stats. There's a reason so much of the focus was on Wilsons shortcomings, but you never hear about DENs run game. And how their starting back didn't rush for a TD till week 14.

18 ran a sloppy pattern. WPIAL starters learn as freshmen that you plant your foot and drive HARD back for the ball. He ran a sloppy loop and wasn't in position.
