I love the kid at the end plop down in the road and just get dirty throwing stones and running his hands in the road. Next generation hunters...that a boy!

Well behaved kid for sure. Welcome to hang with the older fellers anytime. I picked up a lot of knowledge just doing what that boy was doing.

Aaron.. you and I think very much the same way when it comes to bowhunting setups and scouting. Sad thing is it took me 43 yrs to learn what I have and you guys already have it and more at your age... Great show as always!!

This is good info for all over the south.

Hilarious. You’re finding these spots for them but then they still want to hunt the spot the way they hunt a box blind over a food plot. “ aw yea we can come in here in July and cut some lanes and build a blind” they’re going to marry those spots and pound em like it’s the honeymoon and guess what the deer catch on real quick and they’ll be somewhere else. Big buck killers have a mentality that you just can’t teach.

I have never experienced those pine stands of the south but I do understand thick pines in the northeast and this was great content for this...I noticed this year for the first time the deer were loving the running water through those areas and eating alot of the plants that were on the banks of those runoffs. They were the most lush green ferns in the bedding area

Finally, someone doing a vid on down south scouting. I hunt in FL and last year we had a couple clear cuts done, now cant wait to go see what is showing up next month. This vid is going to help me know what to look for so much, thanks.

This approach to scouting new spots can be applied anywhere , an informative vid. After aerial and topo research there's no substitute for boots on the ground to confirm what you suspect. IMHO it's the fascinating part of deer hunting.

Thank y’all for this series of vids it was super helpful! I hunt in Georgia and it seems like all the RU-vid hunting is up north and the tips are about how to hunt up north. This really helped me dial into my property more. Keep up the awesome work and it be nice to see more hunting in the south next season!

Thank you for this. I’m a new hunter in GA, but I grew up somewhere else, so I’m still trying to learn where the deer are down here. Like that one guy said, they like to go where I don’t. This season I did dive into these more recent clear cuts and found where deer were bedding, but I couldn’t figure out ways to get in there without making a ton of noise. This video gave me some ideas.

it simple, deer are edge creatures, find the edges and you will find where they like to move. An edge can be as simple as a small rise in elevation in a constant hard woods and that is were the buck will follow.

If you were to hunt those trails through the thicket and sit at the intersection, what would be the best way to access that high point? Would walking the trail in cause enough scent to be spread where the mature bucks would be wary enough to avoid the trail?

I know I'm a bit off subject here. But I am wanting to see the trophy room, How many of those great big ole' deer you slay'd this past season made it to the Taxidermy? I'd be hanker'n for a look at em.????? I think y'all had a fantastic success;. Me, I spent most of this deer season Working my butt off. So my source of hunting was mostly though watching you guys, and quite enjoyably so.. Thanks again for all the great things you fellers are doing..

What are your thoughts about the new monetize rules? Not even saying the word that rhymes with “bun”, would give reason for RU-vid to give you a “strike”, and 3rd strike they delete your channel? I love your content and look forward to every new post, and this would be detrimental to the subject matter I love.
