I don’t know much about this scp but from what I’m saying understanding is if it effected the sun and the light was dangerous then the new (infected, changed, dangerous whatever) light would take 8 minutes to reach the earth so you’d have 8 minutes to get to safety if you immediately saw that broadcast but correct if I’m wrong because I don’t really know much about this SCP

Actually if the clouds were dark enough like let's say when a tornado happens or even better a tornado at night it could potentially stop the light making it safe to go outside but remember it's all light across the visible spectrum so the area affected by the light blocking event would have to be pitch black and having to face the infected in the dark would be terrifying but still this would be a good opportunity to go out and it would be worth it to go out if a forest fire started, a volcano erupted and a tornado started in the dead of nigh during the new Moon in the winter very far north where the sun does not rise for the winter.
