Imagine The Doom Slayer being like a caretaker or warden at an SCP facility, every SCP wouldn’t even try to get out of containment.

It took 27 hours of constant fighting for SCP-682 to traumatise SCP-096. Doomguy did it in 10 minutes

Doomguy wasn't struggling, he was having fun.

Saw a lot of comments about how doomslayer wouldn't kill humans, and I'd agree. Would have been a lot more fun if he showed up during a breach and started wiping out SCPs and saving everyone.

The doomslayer knows, what's human and what's not. It is pretty obvious in the BFG-10000 level, where he meets researchers.

I’d like to correct two things. 1: Doomguy is intelligent enough to not kill humans. He doesn’t kill UAC personnel even though they are responsible for the demon invasion. He would likely not kill Foundation personnel. 2: Doomguy was augmented as shown in Eternal. The Seraph put mortal Doomguy in the Divinity machine after the siege of Argent D’Nur

Never thought I'd feel bad for Shy Guy but that moment where he hid in the corner and slipped the bag over his head to make the big mean man go away actually struck me a bit.

Couple things, Doomslayers speed is said to be immeasurable as he can outclass the makyrs and it’s stated that they can wing across creation. So 096 being able to outrun him is pretty unbelievable. The Doomblade is created to work in tandem with the Praetor armor. So I’m gonna say if 096 can’t damage DS armor, he can’t just snap the blade. Or rip a chainsaw or other weapons out of DS hands. And I’ve seen people argue that there’s a version of 096 that destroyed the Sun? If that’s true than that’s pretty damn badass, but sorry, Davoth was the lord of all creation and creator of the multiverse. With a simple “No” Doomslayer one shots him with the blade. So the fact that 096 lasted as long as he did, seems very generous lol.

Fun fact: Like SCPs, Doomslayer is Immortal but that isn't what makes him dangerous. His armor is impenetrable, he spent 4 eons in hell only killing as many demons as he could without tiring. Demon's attack with fire hotter than absolute hot, still Doomslayer managed to kill a Demon Titan without armor. Also, Doomslayer has Crucible blade. In Lore, Crucible blade was designed to stun Demon Titans that are said to be Immortal but Crucible can disable anyone's immortality when striked

SCP-096 normally felt rage when someone saw his face, but when doomslayer saw his, ALL HE FELT WAS FEAR.

This is the first time I've ever heard of 096 not being able to run away from something. I think that's a really cool twist on its anomalous powers.

I've got to say, doom guy would never shoot a human unless he 100% new for fact it was secretly a demon. His origin starts with him killing his commanding officer because he was ordered to fire on innocent civilians

I'm afraid the part at 6:15 is just untrue. The Doom Slayer is, according to multiple lore sources, capable of immeasurable, infinite speeds. He has SOL/FTL capabilities. The Doom Slayer scales to a fully powered Davoth, because he defeated Davoth who was at full power when he battled the Slayer. He was never truly weakened nor did the Father ever used his power for himself. According to the testaments he travelled all 9 circles of hell, but, in lore, *Hell is infinite* (being dimensionless and also having been called bottomless/endless) in size and also is *transcendent to space and time*. Multiple areas of Hell have also been said to have an *infinite number of demons* present. To contain endless things, you need an *endless space*. This means the Doom Slayer officially moved through *infinite distance in a place transcendent to space and time*, qualifying for another infinite-immeasurable speed feat. In the lore for Bloodsea Keep, one of the master levels of Doom II, it is written that, "After being dumped into the *Endless* “Sea of Blood”, following your transformation into a human you swim for *ETERNITY* before you finally bump your head against the pier of the Keep". For all those that will say that, because these testaments are written by witnesses to him as legend and thus are probably exaggerated, first of all, the definition of a testament is, "something that serves as a sign or evidence of a specified fact, event, or quality" (Oxford Languages). Second of all, there are very recent examples of his speeds being immense *IN GAMEPLAY*. The Doom Slayer is fast enough to keep up with and easily defeat Maykrs, Maykrs were sixth dimensional beings and were seen as Gods by even the most advanced races like the Sentinels who had the ability to travel through time and space. The Maykrs can fly through dimensions with ease. This means that the Doomslayer has infinite - immeasurable speed. Also in Doom Eternal, the Doom Slayer is able to dodge the Khan Maykr’s attacks. The Khan Maykr can fire lasers made of Maykr Energy down. This proves that he is SOL-FTL because the Khan Maykr’s lasers dissipate immediately like real lasers do, and also light things on fire, not blow shit up. So he’s still ridiculously fast. On top of this, SCP-096's speed is based on distance from SCP-O96-1. The further they are, the faster he moves. The lower range of his speeds are around 35 KM/H, or ~22 MPH. Since they are in the same hallway, 096 should not be moving more than 100 or so KMH, or ~62 MPH. The Doom Slayer, even very early on, before gaining higher power, was easily, without even sweating, run at a constant speed of 50-60 MPH, this all without even using haste, and only running, not even full sprint. So yeah, nothing the Doom Slayer hasn't seen - or done - before. Not even close.

Doom Slayer is smart enough to know what is a demon and what isn't, he has been to multiple dimensions

The only thing is that in the lore, the Doom Slayer kills anything that proves a threat to humanity. So him killing the foundation workers is something that would not happen. Fighting shy guy on the other hand is logical.

There is a funny fact about the doom slayer.... He only uses guns as a method to both limit his power and to have fun killing demons... And so a weaponless doom slayer is more scary than the slayer with any gun

Dude. As far as I'm concerned, Doom Slayer is an SCP all to himself. His epicness is so off the scale it's anomalous

Canonically, 096 has gone up against something it cannot kill and is actively afraid of it. So I assume it would actually be that way for Doom Slayer.

1. Doomguy fights to protect the human race 2. Doomguy’s armor isn’t what protects him, and if you’d played the game enough to pay attention you would also know that he was granted godly powers by the Seraphim, making his skin impenetrable 3. This is pretty much a summary, but Doomguy was a marine with a wife and child who died to the hordes of demons who died to Doomguy in his rage for vengeance not only for his family but also his rabbit, Daisy.

Would the slayer waste every non human thing in there? Yes. Would he hurt a single human that wasn't a direct threat to him or working directly with demons? Not a chance in hell my guy.

SCP is contained, but Doom is enternal.

Remember, 096 fought 682 to a standstill, where neither could kill the other, and 096 just became unwilling to engage any longer. If a creature capable of withstanding 682's attacks badly damaging it can do nothing to Doom Guy but disarm him -- what would Doom Guy do to 682? And what would Able make of him?

The thing about the slayer is that he knows who's human and who's not, and he never attacks humans unless they are working directly for a demon (i.e, the hell priests and Olivia Pierce), so him mowing through SCP foundation staff isn't something he'd do

Fun fact: Demons are biologically unable to run away or retreat in the DOOM lore. They are scared out of their minds and have no other choice.

Honestly, just the irony that The Shy Guy was hunted down and killed by an unrelenting force which would not stop pursuing it because The Doom Marine felt the need to kill it, is quite possibly the best symmetry for SCP-096 to go out on.

I honestly love this style of video, something that I am curious about is what would happen if the same scenario played out but with 106. How would our favourite senior citizen react when his corrosive acid does absolutly nothing to the slayer?

I mean, Doomguy may be exceedingly antisocial, but my mate still knows what is and what isn’t a demon. He’s actually been shown on many occasions to refuse to fight regular people. In fact, the reason why DOOM1 Doomguy was sent to mars to begin with was because he refused to execute unarmed civies, and punched his commanding officer!

It’s almost as if every single scp has really strong plot armour so it’s insanely hard to tell who is stronger 😂

7:55 just wouldn't happen. It has been seen time and time again that conventional firearms are able to pierce 096's skin, just not his bone.

I kind of hate how this makes out the Doom Slayer to be a bad guy in a way. He would never kill any humans unless they were directly helping demons. (Also, according to lore, the Doom Slayer is MUCH stronger than what his strength was displayed as in this video).

Nah, Doom Guy wouldn't hurt the people working for the Foundation. He's usually pretty careful and gentle with ordinary humans... except when they're trying to unleash the forces of Hell, in which case, he'll give them hell. But the SCP Foundation is trytrying to secure and contain anomalies (which I guess would include demons), so he wouldn't hurt them.

The doom slayer is WAY faster than that. In the 2nd to last boss fight with the Makyr, he dodges lightning, which makes him faster than the speed of light itself. Even though it is a gameplay element, its canonical.

The SCP Foundation should hire the Doom Slayer. He’s honestly probably their best option for taking down threats like 682

The main weakness here is that if the shy guy really cant kill something it gives up. Doomguy is the living example of relentless. Even the endless hordes of hell were pushed back by him so much that they had to trick him into a trap and imprison him. ( Even they could not kill him )

Doomguy has been in hell for billions of years doing nothing but engaging in battle with demons, so by the time he got /tp'd out of hell he would most likely get desensitized to adrenaline he was getting from intense battles with them in the old days. As shown in the first doom: eternal flashback (spoiler alert), doomguy, judging from his voice and speech, pretty much lost quite a chunk of his sanity after being found, however, it was not that long after he had trapped himself in hell, but in doom 2016 and eternal, he doesn't speak a word, implying that he's calm enough to keep his vocal cords at bay after 4 billion years of fighting, so him killing the humans by mistake, thinking that they are demons, is clearly impossible, it was also kinda of confirmed in doom: eternal, when he entered the man-built facility in orbit of mars full of humans, he doesn't attack a single one, even after he got threatened by one of the guards, he just takes his gun instead and walks out to kill more demons. He's also quite smart, being able to discover how the weapon he doesn't know works just by picking it up.

It doesn't matter how scary or horrible the monster or entity is, anytime I see anything vs the doom slayer I immediately feel sorry for whatever it is.

"power to match his will" The Doom Slayer is unstoppable. He is also non-hostile to humans. never has been. never will.

In theory, I understand the nerfs done to Slayer, but... The dude is immortal, his weaponry and augmentations entirely indestructable, his speed and reaction unmatched by quite possibly any anomaly created to kill, and easily capable of killing anything in his path other than humans. He does not kill humans, but kills demons and anything that has demonic intent or poses a threat to him.

Fun fact, SCP-096 won’t go after you if you look at a artistic depiction of it, so if you see a drawing or animation of it, it’s not fake, it just won’t go after you, bc it’s not its face

Thing is the scp foundation guards somewhat resemble marines, whom which doom guy does not kill, since, after all, he's trying to save human kind, not kill more of them. So this is unlikely to ever happen.

I dont think doom guy would slaughter the innos, he might be a gigachad, but he is not brainless, he could very quickly put together that these people have monsters locked in containment cells and realize that they likely are not normal demons, even if they are still very much demons of a different breed, that breed being humans, the worst demons of them all. But still, I do not think he would have just begun killing them needlessly, in many parts of the games he worked alongside people, though they mostly just got in his way

Personally, I doubt he'd think humans are disguised demons. Remember, he's incorruptible. Dude could probably hang onto the One Ring and feel NOTHING. But as for him winning against 096? Yeah, he could. He could probably win against ANY evil SCP out there. Even 682'd have issues.

I’ve been waiting my entire life for a video like this. Thank you so much SCP Explained. Edit: after finishing the video, this is an interesting and possibly viable story of what would happen. 096 may be scared of the slayer, but after fighting 682 for 27 hours, it’s difficult to say if he would be scared of him. Also this is following one of the canons where 096 died, because 173 broke his neck and the foundation pumped him with acid. If you’ve ever played any Doom games, you know DAMN well the BFG is hundreds of times, maybe even THOUSANDS of times stronger than 173. 096 had no chance against the Slayer who killed titans with his bare hands, angels who are “indestructible”, and even the creator of the entire universe, who Doom Slayer was actually on par with in terms of power. Stay Ripping and Tearing, Doom Slayer. All hail the coming of the destroyer.
