SCP-1936 - The Mystery of Daleport 

Poor Daleport. It went from an old England town to an abstract artist acid trip.

Hopefully the Foundation will have the common sense to simply ask Pangloss for help and not try to lock him up.

Some facts about Pangloss: He created the Heart of Flame which made all of creation and life. He used to just be called The Flame. He is the brother of Saturn Deer/The Vision(who is a different character from SCP-2845). He is said to be the beginning of all light while Saturn Deer is the end of all light. He created SCP-1522 which were 2 sentient boats that were in love but were destroyed by the GOC. He also created SCP-1612 and SCP-1685. His appearance is of an organism made of fire but is commonly show in art as a flaming humanoid with antlers. He prevented a god from being able to come back to life. He hopes that humanity will one day love each other. And he was the teacher of Polyakov the Wonder-Maker(Dr Wondertainment) who later became the teacher of WAN/Mekhane(this version of Mekhane is actually female). If anybody wants to read articles about him he has a tag on the SCP Wikidot that lists all the articles with him. Edit: Pangloss is also equal in strength to SCP-2845 because in The Stars Do Not Wait For You, SCP-1915 said that he couldn’t tell which of the 2 was more glorious and terrifying. He is also way stronger than his brother as it’s stated he burned brighter in order to allow creation to be born, also his brother is a low elder god. He created words, time, the Heavens, worlds, and spirits. Also as seen in SCP-1730, SCP-2845 fights evenly with the Gate Guardian, and in SCP-6001 it’s implied that the Gate Guardian killed the Scarlet King(this was later confirmed in a Reddit post by the author of 6001). So if Pangloss were to fight the Scarlet King, Pangloss would win.

Everyone's talking about how the combatants were powerful, and Pangaloss is great, and their speculation about the victor. But I'd like to point out that SSVLSSR, The Shivering Mist, was just able to contain it all without problem. Like seriously, that thing is the real powerhouse here. The SCPF can, right now, only dream of being able to just causally contain gods that warp the universe like SSVLSSR did.

The pure fact that they worried about sending in D class shows this must be a different scp that was a lot more concerned about loss of life than normal.

when the narrator said the UGV was unstoppable, my first thought was “I bet something stops it.”

Anyone else feel like how "Daleport, New England" was said makes it seem that either the person who wrote the script of this video, the SCP article or maybe Lime himself have seen so many movies/TV and read so many books that took place in some small town in New England they now think NE is an actual state.

The foundation almost always ignores advice or help from SCPs and harms SCPs until they hold a grudge for revenge. They should change their ways to improve relationships with SCPs, and decrease the risk of them going rogue.

It’s nice to see at least one other god besides 343 is looking out for us. Especially when you have the likes of the skarlet king, the hung king, the destroyer of worlds and “IT” out there.

This channel has great videos. The story was strange, but I ended up liking it due to what happened in the town. I would like to see several scps like 2039, 2184, and 2245. I have a top 20 list but some like these might make for a cool video

Wow, go Pangloss. It’s really rare to see a monstrous, extra dimensional creature in the SCP universe who is benevolent and helpful.

From the description of this event, I think the society failed. There is no way the Scarlet King or Mechaine or any of the other big boys actually showed up.

Normal Smog can be dangerous but this is upright scary and dangerous. The scariset part is that they did not know whats going on.

For those interested in who all got summon to this eldritch god beat down (copied from the SCP itself): The border of the mural is encompassed by Ssvlssr, the Shivering Mist that will descend upon the world during the Time of Awakening. The mist is all-encompassing, and shall act as a barrier to those wishing to stop the Awakening, as well as confine the Great Trinity of Potential Victors. The three at the center of the mural are the Great Victor of Flames, the Great Victor of Frost, and the Great Victor of the Storm. They rain down destruction upon one another, with their true names inscribed in unreadable, unknowable runes Around the three are visions of the Great Battle that contain the majority of those that shall come to this realm, with Djrr, the Dark God of Lamp-Posts, The Blind One illuminating the way for his followers, who leave tributes upon crooked light posts. Djlp manifests as the flies pouring out of the mouths of his beloved and becursed to assist in the conflict any way he can, while Yni-Yni, the Trepanner, frees his followers from the skulls of their oppressors. The Shredded Cabbage of Misfortune will destroy those who oppose the vegetable monarchy. Zinn, Herald of Maarp commands the army of Lepidoptera to carry those away who sleep with the flowers beneath the Silver Ash in the Dream Attics of Inanimatum. The Voice of Ages, though not visible, is omnipresent, represented by the yellow runes bearing his name hidden throughout the mural. Finally, at the bottom, the minor minions and deities pledge their allegiance to the three victors. Those who pledge their allegiance to the Great Victor of Flames are tinted orange, the Great Victor of Frost violet, and the Great Victor of Storms green. Many, such as He Who Walks Beneath Dreams, his face a mere triangle, remain unaligned, and are painted in black, for they are opposed to none and yet opposed to all. The Dark Deer Dm'axx is shown around the edges, forever excluded by the rest. Sheogorath remains, ruling his kingdom of two faces before he himself brings its downfall, only to be stopped by a great prisoner of the dragon king. Twenty goats stuck together making a goat ball, spin round and round all the way to goat hell. The skeletons forever fight their final war. The conflicts of these minor deities will have little impact on who the Great Victor of this battle shall be. And yes, that is Elder Scrolls' Sheogorath. Alongside Goat Simulator and the Skeleton War at the end there.

It's the punch out of the pantheons! The dust up of the deities! The first and final get together of the gods! Because every neigh omnipotent being steps in, but only one will have the honor of stepping out alive! So put on your foundation approved scramble goggles to avoid going mad, and watch as the ownership of the universe is decided once and for all! All things considered, wouldn't it be obvious who won the battle at Daleport? Considering how Pangloss' actions managed to save those people who sought refuge where he asked them to go, doesn't that show that Pangloss emerged victorious from the encounter? From what I understand, SCP Foundation or other mythologies, Gods are not merely powerful beings, but the personifications and living embodiments of concepts themselves. I suppose a battle between Gods could be seen as the universe having a one-sided metaphysical debate, but I digress. Firstly, I'd have to know what Pangloss' concept or concepts are. If "protection" and anything related to sympathy, care, love, friendship, or any other concepts that are benevolent and mutually strengthening between the individual deity and their supporters/worshipers, then, regardless of motivation (selfish or selfless), Pangloss trying to save those people and earning their admiration, affection, or genuine concern for his well being may have increased his power to the point where he was able to save them, and thus his power increased to the point where he was able to win said battle, return the people to the world afterward, and then depart before either they or the Foundation could apprehend him or figure out too much about him for his presence to pose a danger to those living on Earth, perhaps to avoid having other deities from who-knows-where assail Earth in an attempt to do him in, or to keep people from Earth from learning too much about other deities that they then might summon through their actions, intentional (such as being malevolent whilst being aware of the Scarlet King, and thus causing him to manifest) or accidental (such as the Sealed King, who could manifest if enough people on Earth simply _knew of his existence)._

My bet's on Pangloss, that'd be a totally cool outcome. King of the gods AND saved people as he rose to the challenge!

Living in a small-medium sized new england town is sometimes bizarre and anomalous in and of itself. WASPs all act like pod people anyway, I don't think we'd notice.

So basically just The Mist meets Cabin in the Woods

I know the answer of which god won. It only takes a simple deduction, a small, basic leap of logic. At this battle, was one god who, instead of focusing on fighting the others actively, focused on saving as many innocents as possible. One god that stayed mostly OUT of the fighting, except maybe towards the end. Who would have stayed fresh and conserved his energy for that last battle as the others exhausted and battered themselves. One god who, once the fighting was all done and only one remained, was still around to return the innocents he'd managed to rescue. Who was still around to return those innocents, after a battle where only a single god would stand. Pangloss. Pangloss was the winner. That is an encouraging and warm thought. That the eldritch god who, alone of all the others, cared about the innocent people, was the last one standing. The god who now has full dominance, is not our ruler, but our CARETAKER.

I bet scp 343 and Pangloss could do a lot of good together.

Well what i love about the SCP lore is its mysterious and seems impossible to connect the dots

I remember this from the SCP Animated channel. Good stuff right there. Day 325 of asking the O5 Council to use SCP-1968 to create a universe in which 682 doesn't exist.

I remember that there are some scps which are a hat that makes it hard to perceive the wearer, and a coat that allows the wearer to manifest and control tentacles. Could they have some relation to Pangloss?

I am a huge fan of the long dead artist MC ESCHER. Nobody drew OPTICAL ILLUSIONS like him and many of his illusions were structures whose geometry could not exist in the real world. He was an absolute genius. Some of those distorted buildings gave me major MC Escher vibes. I wish that he had been MENTIONED by the narrator. Maybe when describing the distorted buildings in the town he could have said that the buildings looked like they were built by MC Escher or something similar.

My theory is that the broken god is no longer broken he’s been put together way before the foundation was born and it was born of him he is the administrator he is the immortal thing powering the foundation makes sense don’t it having the cooperation of the nations as he promised all those years ago that a great technological revolution would happen such as the industrial revolution and so many before them
