That is partly true eve in lore. Cthulhu for example is just sleeping but his psycick powers are just so great that people around the world see images of him and go crazy. Some of them just go nuts and some of them start to worship him as a god. Cthulhu has no plan or use for humans and whole mankind gets fucked once he wakes up as just collateral damage. Hell... He likely doesnt even know mankind exist.
I feel like this whole situation is a series of pranks being played on Chtulu by another of his kind using they’re own cult pretending to worship Chtulu
This poor guy is probably one of the few SCP's to seek out the foundation of it's own accord. This and the tunnel monster are some of the best subversions of expected content on the entire wiki.
The foundation needs to make him a v-tuber rig that creates a counter memetic field that essentially. Allows him to stream and actively streaming with the rig creates a counter cognito hazard that has negating effects to his normal cognito hazardous properties. Essentially his streams popularity would convert his spontaneous cults into instead of being violent zealots into twitch simps that are Throwing money into a parreon and twitch stream that the foundation owns(meaning the cultists are basically throwing money at the foundation instead of breaking into his containment room. And yes this is because I legitimately want to headcanon him streaming games underwater and occult / hellish/ demonic themes like binding of Isaac, hades, subnautica, helltaker, doom, eternal darkness, pony island, inscryption, crypt of the necrodancer, returnal, hellsinger, sucker for love, and BPM (bullets per minute) and of course obviously Cthulhu plays cult of the lamb.

First off, I like this version of Cthulhu. I mean, he is hell of a Starcraft player. I have never seen a guy run the Zerg without missing a click. Also, Yig is better Old God. All hail Yig, the God of Snakes! He is a good snek. But, he doesn't like being booped on the nose. (Secretly, he doesn't mind)
