The sigh the Russian scientist gave was hilarious and really highlights the problem with an organization like the Foundation. "I just told you what would happen." "Sure, sure, but we'd like to get some samples and notes before we write it off as a los- Hey wait! Don't leave! I still have questions!" I get it, but it's still funny in a black comedy sort of way.

I get the odd feeling that when it did exist (which it does not) Scp-3930 used to be a library that would not recognize the bodies in the water. What we CAN discern about this phenomenon is that if it doesn’t exist (which it does not) it can’t be a sphere and does not exist for doctor bright to do at any facility.

I know where the SCP got the term Pattern Screamer. I think Twilight Zone 1985 Episode Something in the Walls influenced the creator. In that episode a woman is paranoid about Patterns and creatures who want to exist but can't. It also mentioned that the Creatures in the Patterns were extremely old.

Pattern screamers don't want to exist they hate existence they hate themselves for their half existence and they hate you for forcing them into their half existence. They are what happens if you see patterns in nothing and that pattern becomes sentiment and hates.

@@nickxenix scp 682 has the nickname “Hard-to-destroy”, he is a monster and nothing tested against it so far can destroy it. It’s goal is to destroy humanity, the only thing that Scp 682 is scared of is Scp 173. And even that could not kill it. You can search up some videos to find more detail about it

It is called the "pattern screamer" because humans can't perceive a non-existence so we fill in the blanks using what's around us (forests and stuff) and because the image of the forests is created by the mind alone, it varies from person to person. So when more than ten people perceive it, it becomes distorted to the point where it seems like it has a conscience. And that conscience is aware of its true nothingness so it hates being and blames it's existence on those perceiving it, and so it kills them by screaming. A screamer made out of patterns. A pattern screamer.

Describing scp-3930 using language is impossible due to language being based on attempting to describe something. We do our best but it, due to not existing, being unable to be precieved makes it quite difficult.

If you want to see the black hole on earth check out SCP 094. It's not exactly a black hole, but it has certain similarities. Also, 3930 is NOT a black hole. It is not a vacuum. It is truly, and literally, *NOTHING.*

To say it does not exist seems wrong. It has real consequences to people walking into it. It has to be contained due to the danger it poses. These are all features that describe it. I feel like this is similar to the color black. Black is the absence of color. You could say it is the lack of reflection, or no light. Of course, the color black we usually see does have some reflection, it is not perfect darkness, but we can still perceive it, in the sense that we perceive the things around it. This is one of my favorites though, but I fail to understand the emphasis on its non-existance, how is this thing not just a fancy variant of a black hole, but with no gravitational pull?

It's not the void itself that's the problem, it's just a gateway that allows the real problem (read: the pattern screamers) to become apparent. The void is just that, a void. But ideas can be projected onto anything, and when enough people project ideas onto that void, the ideas (or the ideas of who they think is there), become self-aware, and exist within the void, but they also don't exist because that would be completely impossible no matter what laws of reality you follow. These ideas are aware that they cannot exist, yet they do, and they feel....something, probably analogous to pain, and they hate the persons projecting concepts onto the void, because that's why they are aware, and so they want to take themselves wholly out of existence. If enough are aware, they gain the ability to interact with the existent world.... By removing everything from existence. It's not the void, it's the things we put there that are the threat.

The danger are the pattern screamers. They are projected patterns onto pattern less things that became sentiment and are in some sort of non existence that torments them. This leads to them hating. They hate you and they will destroy you if given the chance. They are given the chance when more than 10 people project something onto the nothing that is (not (due to its non existence)) scp-3930, at this point there is enough collective pattern creation that they can manifest close to the nothing where they come from. And then they brutally destroy their creators so that they can be released from the torment of their nonexistence.

TL;DR Version: It *doesnt* exist, but because human minds can’t wrap around that logically, not only do we perceive it as existing even though it literally doesn’t, but in doing so, humans accidentally create the pattern screamers which are kind of a non-existence phantom
