SCP-3989 - The Bone Orchard (SCP Animation) 

There still are olive trees there. The worms they mentioned are converting them into the human flesh trees.

If you read the actual SCP, the bone orchard can only be accessed by travelling into the space from the west, after dark. Anything else just leads to a anomalously large grove of olive trees.

@@legendarywolfgeneral5572 I'm not a master of SCP lore but as far as I can tell the Machine goddess Mekhane was actually among the most benevolent as far as deities in the SCP universe go. Not a high bar admittedly but the flesh god Yaldabaoth is pretty much an actual Lovecraftian monster. Granted Mekhane is literally broken and her remnants are very dangerous but if nothing else a machine apocalypses sounds like it would be less agonizing than a flesh based one.

He probably never did (well, other than a huge orchard that shouldn't be able to fit there). The bone orchard is only accessible by entering the spacial anomaly from the west after sunset; at any other time and/or from any other direction, it leads to a "normal" anomalous olive orchard. A typical farmer isn't likely to be in his orchard at night. Even if he was, if his home isn't on the western side of the orchard and he was west of the anomaly, he'd probably go around it so he didn't have to walk the extra distance through it. The fact that he had never entered or was even aware of the bone orchard probably also protected him from Uruk's influence.

I saw another comment I like the idea of. Maybe this anomalous zone simply gives you what you expect. Olive man expected and got olives. The SCP foundation expect and got monsters.
