Really? I'd prefer a ZK scenario if anything. If everything ends almost instantly, I won't have time to be scared or to be paranoid about my impending doom. I'd be dead.
IMO the most frightening XK-Class scenario is that of the Bubble Fountain (SCP-1518). It may seem innocent, but is in reality far from it; not only does it possesses grim origins, but deceptively destructive properties. It’s estimated just one bubble from the fountain coming into contact with Earth’s oceans could trigger the end of the world.
The SCP foundation is full of everything I need in literature. You have drama, death, love, family, tragedy, and hope. But, mostly death. And, death by cake no less.
A cake, a chair and an itchy nose are more dangerous than an incredibly intelligent being with portals that can warp reality and drags people into a pocket dimension that he has full control of. Why am I not suprised?

If the calculator was only tested on d class personnel then it could just be foretelling the fact that all d class personnel are doomed to die with no successors
My personal theory about scp-3769: It's most likely that the reason why it kills any human is not because we can't evolve more, in fact that is not the case since scp-914 was capable of creating a more advanced human, but the resulting d-class used became so deadly it killed several researchers and guards before it was killed, so i believe the calculator is sapient in some form, and just kills the humans who would evolve for safety measures. If I'm not mistaken, scp-978 revealed this calculator to be sapient and to desire to be used for calculations, so if the next stage of human evolution is too agressive or have no interest or need to use the calculator, it would try to avoid it at all costs.
Let me cook here but, what if a ZK scenario is what is called an “Incursion”. An Incursion was mentioned in Dr strange Multiverse of madness and it is were a being from another universe crosses over into another universe causing one of the universes or both the universe to simply stop existing. As if that universe never even existed. More proof of this theory would be when Spider-Man 2099 wanted to be happy in another universe with his daughter but since he was in the wrong universe it caused that universe he was in to simply disappear. My theory is that a ZK class scenario is a Incursion because remember: the SCP foundation deals with all sorts of SCPs, even some that can lead to the events of an incursion if the foundation is not careful and a unknown entity somehow finds his way into that universe and stays there for too long.
Funny thing is that if our reality is currently a “False Vaccuum”, which means the fabric of reality isn’t at its lowest energy state, what is essentially a CK-class scenario could spontaneously happen at any time, with 1 random point of space suddenly falling to a lower energy state, which would completely change the laws of physics in that place. Furthermore, that point of lower energy would cause the space around it to also change to the lower energy state, creating a bubble of space with the new laws of physics that would expand outward at the speed of light and either obliterate or completely change everything it contacted. But this is a big IF. Scientists currently believe that our reality is *not* a false vaccuum. Also, note that some Vacuum Decay Scenarios could allow organic life to survive, if the change isn’t too drastic. Furthermore, the Big Bang may have been the result of a false vacuum decaying into a true vacuum.

The nanomachines in a "gray goo" scenario don't just cover everything in gray goo--they _turn_ everything into gray goo. They _are_ the gray goo, and they use all other matter to create more of themselves, turning all matter on the entire planet into more of themselves--a giant mass of gray goo. The reason this scenario is so terrifying is that the transformation would happen exponentially fast--once there are more nanomachines, they can go about converting more things into nanomachines, which can convert even more things, etc. It would spiral out of control _fast._

With what was discussed about what could be used as world "reset buttons", we definitely are aware via SCP-5000 that SCP-055 chose to allow its carrier that it should be delivered to SCP-579. Makes me wonder if there is someone out there who is entrusted to bring SCP-055 to SCP-579...
Here's a theory for a ya ta chew on: SCP-2317-Alpha (The Devourer) was the original form for the Skarlet king before he found a way to evolve, leaving The Devourer to be it's Own angry entity (hey, Doctor Who's demon from "The Satan's Pit" got away with it). As for his children, anybody who's been searching into the Kings origin close enough will realize that (at least according to one or two stories) he technically has Three generations of children. First, there was his Seven daughters from the ancient times, who he turned into his Seven brides (don't be surprised, he's basically this world's version of Satan, what'd you expect?) Second was when he had his brides give birth to seven new entities. If The King and The Devourer are connected as they've been suggested to be, the seven entities used to make The Devourers' chains were from the Children of The Skarlet King. And if 682 is in fact one of the Kings children (as stated in most Cannons), following this logic, he could have survived being used to make one the chains due to his regenerative abilities (this may be confusing when crossed with the assumption that 682 was cursed after feeding the apple to Eve in The Garden of Eden [according to the termination attempt with The Gate Guardian] but I'm working with what I've got here. Plus, that's never fully stated outright). Quick side note: It's possible The Devourer may have been one the children and he survived getting some bones ripped out to make one of the chains, but I'll only be archiving that theory for reference. Finally, there's the third generation, aka, SCP-231. So far, each instance has given birth at some point or another, with each child getting supposedly terminated by The Foundation. It's possible certain instances may have survived to become well know scips (e.i. 058 perhaps), but that's neither here nor there. And according to one story, The Children of the Skarlet King's belief may be slightly incorrect, with the one story I'm referring to being the one that states that 999 is 231-7's child. The cults beliefs may have been wrong in this cannon, because it's clear The King did not enter our reality after 999 was born, meaning there are other factors at play here, one of them Most Likely being the power of belief stated in The King's 001 proposal. As stated, all a theory. And this is Probably the wrong place to be posting this. (R.I.P my fingers 😅👁)

Why do you think there is all this advanced war-time technology just lying around, some still running in their original programming from before princess Zelda figured out how to re-program some of it and strangelly, no mention of any normal religions despite the moon and constellations being clearly those of Earth and the constellations being in positions that are estimated to be where our constellations will be in a few thousands or tens of thousand years from now.

@@Breached18 most of them are monstrous, its just that most of them dont have it out for humanity. 5031 is a multi armed invisible monster which kills and eats anything including humans when its hungry, but if you feed it consistently its a sweet, naive aspiring chef. 1386 is a sentient ice cream truck that'll grab you with a bear trap and grind you up if you dont pay, but as long as you pay for your ice cream its just a playful ice cream server with a habit of overcharging

@@ArcanineEspeon well the end of the world Scenarios for SCP foundation is preety well known for those who are already well versed in it. If it confuse some of you while XK end of the world scenario sounds really bad its still 2 level below the highest one which is ZK in which case there's absolutely nothing the foundation can do about it, even the protocol shown in the vid are only capable pf handling up to YK class if i recall.

mostly predictions or extrapolation of information. when the president doesnt itch at 7:53, an asteroid shows up and foundation scientists see its big enough to destroy earth and itll hit at 8:53. when the president then itches his nose, asteroid disappears instantly.
XK is only more feared because of how many wayd they can happen, whereas other K-class scenarios have fewer instances where they can happen and are less likely in general

I actually have a fan theory for the entire SCP multiverse and all the anomalies inside it: *it's practically a twin of the Creepypasta universe, which is why some monsters are similar to creepypastas, only the SCP universe has SOME good in it while the Creepypasta universe is "all sinful."*
