When we feel scared, we tend to cover ourselves with blanket from head to toe. However, is it really safe under the blanket? We alway take common objects as granted. Have you ever paid attention to their uncanny characteristics? SCP-799's tale takes on this household object, spins it, tries to conflict with our primitive fear: fear of the unknown darkness.
799 is a living organism (#CarnivorousBlanket). It varies in size, shape but always retain the appearance of a knit or woven item. If forced to survive for long periods without sufficient nutrition, it will metamorphose into a predatory form. 799 waits you to wrap up in it, become quiescent, then it will consume you as whole. So next time when you wrap yourself in a blanket, think twice.
