Wow! Awesome shoes! They seem to be a pair of all-year-round shoes. And that extra protection on the sole and around the shoes make them the perfect choice when it comes to hard trail running! #Xero

glad i followed you since your day 1..now you're one of my main reference to look out for reviews on barefoot/minimalist shoes/sandals...eventho im a vibram 5 fingers junkie, i just love to watch your reviews on different brands...maybe someday you can convinced me to buy another brand beside vibram ahahahahahhaha...(actually im eyeing a lot on xero for several years, just need some 'push' maybe to add in the cart hahahha)

They are indeed stiff, horizontally. The Freet Impala bit.ly/3vSskNp and some of their other mid boots would be good alternatives as well with protection but more flexibility.

These are my on list im not sure i have mentioned before but i have the mesa trail 2 that is a fantastic shoe i went up 1/2 size cos i personality like a liilte bit of room i have just got the wp version too a aliilte bit stiffer but thats due to the waterproof membrain so they will need some breakin time

@AndrewFolts hi Andrew yea very good not the most barefoot but to be fair it's a boot and very very light as you know I love my sandles but most of time it's too cold for me which is a shame I did get some luna sandals but I think shamma are better

These would be an awesome barefoot alternative to my hoka hiking boots! I sadly haven’t been able to wear them on longer hikes anymore after starting my barefoot shoe journey. These #xero boots look like they would be a great replacement 👍

a lot of space above the fingers, not so wide in the fingers, narrow and puts pressure on the ankles. and the tongue in waterproof version is not protected from the rain. and yes, they bend terribly.

Hey Chris, Xero's usually great in terns of last due to having a dense rubber, although sometimes (like with the Scrambler) that can result in them feeling stiff. Vivobarefoot and Vibram have also been very good.

Tracker Decon. The Scrambler was very stiff and not really barefoot, IMO. The Xero Denver is a much better option ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-aF9-dIg2ioo.html and more similar to the Decon. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9Q9yNVkYvgY.html The main difference is that the Decon is better for all-season use, while the Denver is insulated and best used below 70º.

hi there :) if i wanna use them for daily taks going work going out with dog sometimes go outside with friends i barely travel or hiking will i still enjoy the benefits of barefootshoes n order to fix my foot get rid from the plantar facities and more space for my toes?
