Points for finding a neat spot to put that heat exchanger, all points deducted for choosing a spot that has zero airflow. You will get more flow at speed by turning that "scoop" around and having the venturi effect pull air through.

I would have put the heat exchanger under the body with a fan on it and a t stat to maintain a constant temp as much as possible

Congratulations on being a dad as far as where you put the heat exchanger until you put the cover over it. I was a little worried that if that thing ever let loose, you would’ve been scalded all over your back by hot radiator fluid good choice in putting a cover over it.

could have mounted the intercooler on top of engine, have a look at the Nissan Pulsar GTIR, top mounted intercooler, or even any turbo charged standard subaru, has a top mounted intercooler. You can put a shield between the IC and engine to help prevent heat transfer. Good work none the less. Look forward to your videos.

Congratulations on being a new Papa good to see how much your tig welding skills are taking off. Not too long and you will find out how much nicer you can get with a watercooler and a water-cooled Tig torch makes it. I found out about the whole watercooler thing after the first aluminum welding job having to stop and let the torch cool down. Now with the maxcool 3000 & flex-loc water-cooled torch makes life so much better no burning my hands anymore....😊

Great to see a new video. Congrats on becoming a dad. The guitar case doesn't seem smart. It's a giant oven with no ventilation. You should have drill/cut some opening in the rear upper most part (facking the rear); the undercar intake should be sealed to the front of the heat exchanger to force the air thru it.

You don't need a heat exchanger for the A2W. Run a non sweat igloo type 5 gal tank and have the pump kick on with boost. Ambient water temps still work great. Ice it at the track and use a huge PVC ball valve to drain quickly.

I hope fatherhood is going well... If we all don't see another video before Christmas I hope you and your family have a good baby's first...🎅👼🎄 👍 I like the guitar case, the whole idea... 🤔 However and you'll hate me... I don't like the access door on the top, it takes away from a nice smooth look of the top. Seems like you could have just removed the whole cover easily to check fluid level, rather than have an access door. Secondly, and well I'm no expert on aerodynamics, or cooling, but you got cool air going in from underneath, my question is where is the hot air going out? I would have put a small air grill on the back side of the body of the guitar case cover in front of the heat exchanger even made the grill to resemble a smaller version of the grill on the front of the Jeep. That way you can scoop the cool air from underneath, pass it through the heat exchanger then have the hot air come out through the top side exiting toward the tailgate, allowing air to flow and pass through it so it actually functions properly, than just be a heater box with nowhere to discharge the air. I know you hate me now as you have it already powered it coated, and so very nicely I must admit.... Sorry if this makes sense and you hate me now.
