Hello everyone. It seems like a lifetime since I last uploaded a video. Today we are heading out and hitting the streets in search of scrap metal. We also take a trip to the yard and weigh some metal in, Come tag along an see how we do.

Another good little vid there Gary and a nice pay day twas a bit warm early this week Tuesday at 1 30 said to my self feck it had enough of this s**t and went home and of course it was much hotter wed and did a full day's scrap and then had to load all that non ferrous FML 😭😭

I like to take the microwaves apart for the magnets plus the different metals. It doesn't come to much but adds a little to each bin. One day I want to make a powerful magnetic sweeper to see how useful it might be.

Yep they are all enjoying being back. My not so little lad has stated secondary school now. It is strange to see him bussing to and from school. I don't feel needed anymore lol

Nice to see you back and out and about mate. I had noticed there were a few more scrapper trucks about. I guess to be expected when the prices are like they are. Got to be honest I like the magnets from microwaves, powerful little buggers got to watch small fingers with them but me and the grandchildren have a bit of fun with them. Love your videos mate. Quick question, I’m thinking of street scrapping alongside my main job for the gas industry. Do I need to pay tax for the metal I sell and create a business?

You would need to pay tax on any income that is earned. I think there is something call a (bread card) but don't know much about them. You wouldn't need to create another business but when you do your taxes for the gas works it will ask if you have any other income, then you would declare your scrap money. I'm not the best with this as my accountant handles the majority of mine lol.
