He makes her breakfast every morning. Also gets her a glass of wine every evening. Gets no appreciation. They have one argument and she wants to leave him. I feel bad for him. She is quite a cold sad person. Can't she just be happy with what she already has.
I appreciate Terry's attitude to helping those who can't be employed, but he has to learn to let go, and some people can't be saved, metaphorically. If he hasn't already, he should let Boyle go.
Nice business Terry and Lidsay, really admire how you give people a chance and run a successful business in the process, if more in the economy were like you, I think things like crime and poverty would reduce because it's barriers put up by normal people that create those.
Terry has the patience of a saint, look at all he has to deal with. Then to top it off, a low-class, uneducated wife just to stress him right off the cliff. This show is a lesson to us all.
As much as you can see he loves her doing the things like making her drinks and breakfast, it can be quite tiring always being the sensible and responsible one, when he’s splashing money etc. You don’t wanna be someone’s mum.

He was high on coke and ran a red light at 60mph and hit an astra then ran from the scene only to turn him self in later, gave the poor pensioner fractured skull, broken sternum and bleeding on the brain.. Dudes a mess and will be in and out prison all his life ,doubt he'll be able to sustain a job.
What a shame for that oap. Awful. Drug/alcohol driving enrages me. Probably someone’s parent/grandparent, and as much as he’s endearing on this programme, if someone did that to our family you’d want them locked up.
I read a catch up article with all the main guys from this show. Apparently Terry and Lindsay have split up for good and Boyle is working at another scrap yard but Terry still keeps in touch with him. He's also got a kid now which he says has helped to calm his ADHD and do some serious growing up.

Hes good helping his employees get a job alright hes tough on them but sometimes you have to. Hats off to him and his wife they have a marriage that works for them hats off to them the cafe is brilliant if I lived near I would love a cafe like that meet real people have a laugh fun. Boyle I had a boss trust in me at 17 he gave me a chance, Terry is only gonna take so much, this man put a lot of money and time into you, you owe him a lot more than you think you owe him.
2 million cars in 21 years? thats almost 100,000 cars a year, which is 260 a day, and Terry has said they usually get 30-35 cars a day, which would equal something more like 250,000 over the 21 years. Something not right there
2 million cars is a bit of a lie I think. He'd have to be doing around 365 cars a day! That's physically impossible with 1 yard and 1 claw. 365 a day is based on your average 5 day working week. At 35 cars a day it comes to roughly 176,000 over the 21 years and that's not taking into account xmas's, holidays etc. Even if business was at its peak he'd only be able to do 50-60 cars a day.
that stunt reversing into the pile of cars could of been a disaster ,he could of pushed himself under the stack and got crushed under the pile .. that would of been a fb sensation
I once worked for a rich couple and the husband drove a 5 year old Ford Escort and his wife drove a spanking new white Lincoln Continental. Some people just aren't "car" people. I prefer a sharp looking vehicle and I'm pretty fussy in keeping it looking nice.
